Holy grail of dandruff shampoos. I have had dandruff my entire teen/adult life (now 40). I’ve tried everything, every active and all the brands and weird diy hacks. Finally a minimal and effective line up of products for the hair and my scalp is no longer itchy since switching to the cereve line (using dandruff shampoo and conditioner intermittently with their hydrating shampoo and conditioner). I’ve had 2 haircuts now with virtually no flakes on the black cape.. never experienced that before. Highly recommend giving these a try

I love this shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling clean, flake free and moisturized. I have fine hair that gets oily and this shampoo helps it stay an extra day before needing to be washed.

I don't normally run to reviews, but ... here I am. I was in the midst of a bad seborrheic dermatitis flare up. I normally use a steroid on my scalp, but have been looking for something to use in the recent I don't have a current Rx or want to use it. This shampoo cleared up my flakes and after washing, I was not (embarrassingly) digging at my head all day. This was after one wash. The scent is very subtle and pleasant. The texture is great with a moderate amount of slip and good lather. For anyone wondering, I have thick, 4a/4b curly hair.

It just dried my scalp out more. I wanted to try it because of its cerave and it should be good quality stuff but it just dried me out and I’m more flaky now. I’ll stick to nizoral.

My Fiancé was struggling with dandruff for a while and for the past 2 years he had been using normal dandruff shampoos but the problem started to worsen recently. He was trying everything he could. I always loved CeraVe’s face products and when I saw this one, I knew he had to try it. This is the least amount of dandruff either of us have seen from him!! Dealing with dandruff can really affect your confidence but now his hair is better than even before. I highly recommend this product if you struggle with dandruff. He only had to use it a few times before seeing results.

I lost half my head of hair from using this and the conditioner, giant clumps of my hair would fall out every time I ran my fingers through it, my bathtub was filled with clumps of my hair, and my hair has been noticeably thinner ever since. I switched back to head & shoulders and the loss has slowed. This product SUCKS.

This product seemed alright for a week or so when I began to use it. After about 3 weeks I began to develop small boils on the scalp. I’ve never been able to find a good shampoo and need to use a dermatologist prescribed shampoo but I needed something else in between the days. I I had the worst reaction to this shampoo out of many I have tried and they surprised me because their face products and lotions work so well for me. If you have sensitive skin or fine hair I wouldn't recommend this.

This didn’t do anything for my scalp and on top of that it made my hair frizzy and my ends break off. My hair feels thinner since I used this.

I happened to see that CeraVe came out with an anti dandruff shampoo and was really interested in trying it out, since I adore and use many of their other products daily. My hair has changed quite a bit...aging. Finer but still healthy. Shampoos that say hydrating usually weigh my air down and styling is a nightmare. While washing my hair with this new shampoo I was a bit concerned as it rinsed out that it didn't feel like it was all out. I followed up with the regular CeraVe conditioner and not the anti-dandruff one, and it was so nice. Anyway, my fears were gone once I started styling my hair!! It felt like I had gone to the salon! Clean, shiny and bouncy! I have scalp psoriasis, so I'm hoping this will help as I continue to use it. I should have never doubted my beloved CeraVe with how wonderful this product is!
