I wanted to love this cup, but the lid is awful. The flip top function just makes the spout open on its own all throughout the day. I want something I can toss in my bag and not worry about leaks and this is definitely not it. Please make a lid for this that works but also isn’t a straw or spout because those are hard to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bottle helps me avoid having to bring multiple bottles when I go to work - I use it not only for my protein shake, but water refills and even make my daily matcha tea in it (note: the bottle says it’s not designed for hot liquids, but I actually prefer my teas iced or warm, not super hot). The original lid was leaky, but I called hydroflask and they quickly sent over a replacement lid which is working out great. Really appreciate how quickly they addressed the issue, 5 stars!

The wide opening and lid construction make it very easy to clean (lid even has removeable seal ring with a tabby to easily grab it). The insulation is pretty good and kept my shake cold for at least 30 mins on a walk in 80 degree weather, so off to a good start there! Color is great, handle is large. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a shaker bottle for my afternoon protein liquid snack and thought that HydroFlask would be the best (as they are for my coffee, tea, water, kitchen needs). I bought the color that was on sale. It looked good out of the box but the supposed "stainless" mixing ball is poor quality and doesn't do the job as it should. The container itself is awkward to hold in your hand and very heavy. The lid and drinking mechanism and silicon ring are awkward to clean and awkward to drink from. This is the very first Hydro Flask purchase that I regret.

I bought 3 of these bottles 7 months ago. pros: functional handle nice for carrying around the gym use it as a pre workout bottle, then protein shaker post workout which saves on washing dishes. quality materials cons: poor lid/spout design. After a few months use, all the lids keep popping open, causing accidental spills in gym bag. I still use the bottles just carry upright all the time because I don't trust it not to pop open and spill everywhere.
