Great product. As advertised.
If you are having trouble getting it to walk, check the switch on the battery pack. Open up the velcro on its belly. There is a ‘try’ setting that onlt does the head button. We also returned our first one before realizing this. Kinda obvious in hindsight but there should be a note in the instructions for this. Great product. My kids (13/8) love it. Super soft and a good value for the price. Batteries have lasted weeks now with moderate use.

Walking Mechanism Flawed
Wanted to believe ours would be the exception, but should have believed the other reviewers!!! The walking mechanism worked for not even half a day, and now the legs will barely move at all. We ensured the switch was in the On position, and we also changed the batteries to freshly recharged ones that work great in daughter's other toys, and even ran them through our battery tester to be extra sure. Doesn't work anymore, no matter what surface it's on. Toy has not been roughed up, dropped or otherwise damaged since we got it, so it really should still work. Giving 2 stars because the barking, head & tail movements still work great despite the not walking part.

Walking Feature DOES Work -- Not Enabled While Packaged
We thought the walking feature didn’t work, but luckily saw someone post a review mentioning you just have to switch to a different mode on the hidden button on tummy. Passing the info along in case it helps someone else too… Super cute toy; my 4 year old daughter loves it.

By pressing on the dog's back, he will start walking for 3 seconds and then stop. To keep him walking, you simply need to press his back again. Adorable but poorly made and non-existant customer service. No phone # to call and I'm still awaiting a response to my emails. New batteries installed, switch set to ON position, and yet dog walks for literally 3 seconds and stops. Defective? Or, is that as long as it's supposed to walk - if so, then why have a leash? Very disappointing and frustrating. I would NOT recommend.

We love Our Generation dolls and accessories. So, I was excited to order this toy puppy for my daughter. This is a cute toy puppy but it really does not look as represented, and the seam on its head tore apart in a few days. I want to process an exchange but am annoyed at the hassle and not sure that the new one would be better. We still love the OG brand, but this was a disappointment.

Now, when you pet the top, it only wags its tail and barks. It’s very disappointing for it to fail so quickly. It’s such a neat toy. It barks, moves, and is the perfect addition to her toy box. It’s small enough to carry around and the battery has lasted a very long time.
