Dissatisfied with Dog
Bought for 6 year old grandchild. BOught one dog and would not walk but would bark and wag tail. Bought another one and it does same thing. Not working

It was defective. Wouldn't walk. I attempted to exchange but the one at the store didn't walk either. I was very disappointed.

Hi Darsmiss - Thank you for your feedback. Did you know that there is a switch on the bottom of the Our Generation Goldendoodle Puppy that needs to be set at "ON" for the dog to walk? You may also not know that the dog walks for approximately 3 seconds at a time. Sincerely, Team Battat

Hi Waggs - Thank you for your feedback on the Our Generation Playful Paws Puppy. Did you know that there is a switch just beside the battery compartment that has 3 settings? This switch needs to be set to "ON" for all of the features to work. If it's on "TRY ME", your little one won't get the full furry fun experience of this toy. Sincerely, Team Battat

Fixed the Walk!
We had the same issue with it not walking. Upon further investigation, the dog comes in "Try Me" mode. It must be switched into the on position in order for the walking function to work.

Was able to figure out how to make it walk!
My daughter got this as a gift. We could not get it to walk at first and the instructions were not helpful. From another review we saw that someone else had success from toggling the on/off switch. Seems like out of the box it’s set to try mode that disables the walking. We turned the switch off then fully on and it worked! Only the back button makes it walk. It only takes a few steps at a time. I wish it would walk longer. But my 2 year old loves it. I do like that the bone is magnetic and sticks to the pup’s mouth and makes crunching noise.

Only walks for a few seconds...you have to keep pressing the button on it's back
I wanted my toddler to be able to walk this dog, but it only walks for about 4 seconds and then stops until you press the button on its back again. I am really disappointed with that. She loves taking her grandma's dog for walks and I hoped this would be fun for her but she can't walk it. Advertising that this toy walks is kind of a joke. It only moves a few inches then stops. How silly to design it that way... I'm debating on trying to return it.

Flip Switch to enable Walking feature
We purchased this toy for our daughter and it did not walk as advertised. We returned to the store and exchanged for a new one, it still did not walk. I saw someone mention there is a switch on the stomach of the dog that needs to be flipped... that did the trick and it does in fact walk. Directions do not state this. Many people seem to have this same issue.
