Not the flavor I remember. This was my first time eating this rice in 3 years, and it is now bitter. It does not taste like stove-cooked brown rice. 3 Stars are for the convenience and fast cooking time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the 60 second whole grain brown rice cups. These are delicious. I was surprised by how good these are. The rice is fluffy and not at all sticky. These cook up so fresh and they are the perfect serving size. I love to grill up vegetables and take them for lunch to eat with this rice. This rice is delicious all by itself or with meat and veggies on top. I can’t cook rice without it being a sticky mess so I love these and definitely will buy more. These are awesome for lunches, a quick snack or for a super quick option with dinner.

I purchased because I liked the convenience of the already single portioned cups that can be microwaved and ready in a minute. Lunch time when I'm working is short and quick and easy is key. All I had to do was peel the covering slightly and pop in the microwave. It took my microwave about a minute and 15 seconds but it's a lower wattage. The rice itself is tastier than I expected, probably from the addition of a little sunflower oil and salt I saw in the ingredients list. The texture is decent for microwaved rice. Slightly gummier than if you make it on the stove but I expected that. The 2 pack is budget friendly as far as convenience foods go. Finding healthier ones is always great. I can take these cups of rice and throw it together with whatever leftover protein and veggie I have from the previous day's dinner and have a quick filling, healthier lunch. If you like brown rice and convenience then I do recommend buying these.

My daughter loves to keep these in stock so she can mix them with her Ramen. Overall, the flavor is a little dry however, we just add a little bit more seasoning. They are super quick and the price point is on point. So that’s an added bonus in our book. we will definitely be purchasing these again.

They are so quick to prepare, just peel back the top and microwave for 60 seconds and the rice comes out perfect. No need to add water or transfer to another container. Perfect for the nights when we need quick meal. The consistency of the rice is perfect. Not watery, clumpy or dry. We will definitely be getting more of these!

These are super easy to use and make the perfect portion size for one or two little kids. You don’t need to add water or anything to them before cooking - just throw in the microwave for a minute and forget about it til the rest of dinner is ready. Love the easy, no clean up way of making rice and thought the price point was excellent
