These lamps are very lightweight and feel and look inexpensive (dare I say, cheap) because...surprise, they are inexpensive! This is truly a case of you get what you pay for. If you need extra lamps for an area that you don't utilize much, these will be fine. They’d work well as "decorative only". I wouldn't recommend them for heavy use though as they are a bit flimsy. The color is a mixed bag of rustic black with small amounts of warm brown showing through. Not exactly what the website photos depict but it’s still attractive and I wouldn’t say the small amounts of the warm wood tone that show through completely change the aesthetic. Just know that there’s a bit of that orangey-brown wood tone showing through.
