One of two floodlights is not operating as expected. The lights are flickering, I removed motion detection and reduced the area of coverage, but it's still flickering. I don't think it's the wiring as I had an experienced electrician and security installation person put the equipment up. Also it's only 1 of 2 floodlights and one of nine cameras. Overall picture and resolution are is fine, but that one little problem. Hopefully it can be resolved.

Has disconnected several times from internet and does not automatically reconnect. Need to power it off and back on for that to happen - not what you want in a security camera when you are away from home and not able to essentially reboot the device. Additionally after the first few weeks the floodlights started flickering rapidly when on a schedule - I now need to manually turn the spotlight on in the settings. Disappointing in a floodlight camera whose reason for purchase was, well, the spotlight.

The wrong installation manual was supplied. I had to pay an installer for extra time spent getting advice from Lorex Technical Support. The second even bigger problem was the mounting base of the camera doesn't match the mounting holes on the very expensive LOREX wall junction box! One would think that design criteria for Lorex engineering would be compatibility across their product line!

build quality is good. the lights work great, with brightness and color adjustments. being able to store everything locally is a huge plus too. but after that it begins. . . it took maybe 15 minutes to physically install, and then OVER TWO HOURS to get the camera to connect to the app. connecting to device wifi, then to my wifi, then restarting the device, then back to the device wifi, all for it to just fail silently. not sure what actually got it to finally connect? the app itself isnt that bad. lots a features and adjustments. the thing that ruins the experience is reviewing video. you can only review one video before it indefinitely locks out playing all other video, including the live camera! you can restart the app, you can restart the device, nothing seems to fix the "uh oh! something went wrong. " aside from just waiting for it to work again. if it werent for the persistent "uh oh!" message, this might be a five star product, but with the current software, hey at least the lights work.

This spotlight camera replaces my Ring spotlight camera. It has an excellent clear picture, great notification features and I like the fact that it has local storage with a cloud option should I need it. I wish it had a wider, 120""130-degree lens so I could see a wider field.
