Women's Smocked V-Waist Midi Dress - A New Day™

Such a cute dress! The material is very soft and feel light when wearing it. I’m 5”5” and it is ankle length. The pockets are the best part of any dress in my opinion. I got the white with shell/ beach look and love it! Perfect for any vacation! As for sizing it’s not true to size in my opinion. I’m usually an XL, saw some reviews saying to size down and I’m glad I did. I got a L and I honestly could have gotten a M. I like the lose fit if L so I will keep it but if your looking for a more fitted look definitely size down one or two sizes depending on the look your going for

The print is cute and it has pockets. This just isn’t flattering on me. Im 5’4”, 115lbs, 32C with a long torso. It hits me in a way that makes my torso look short.

I love this dress. It’s so soft and fits well. I normally wear a Large/ size 14 but a medium fits with room. I am 5ft for reference so it’s a maxi dress on me.

This dress is very comfortable, figure flattering. It has a second layer, so it is not see through and keeps you warm in cool summer days. Material is very soft, does not wrinkle a lot, no need to iron it. The pattern is very cute, colorful. The length is just right. The dress itself is true to size. Very happy with this purchase.

I was really excited for this because I loved the color. I tried it on and the top portion was so big! I am always a small in target and the waist was correct but the bust was swimming on me. Had to return :(

I absolutely loved the yellow gingham print and I love the way it fits/looks! There’s just one big problem… So. Many. Wrinkles :( Maybe it’s just personal thing but I could NOT keep the wrinkles out of this dress and it’s a big pet peeve of mine. I can understand a few but it’s just too much and they’re difficult to even iron out. I’d iron the front and by the time I was done with the back the front was terrible all over again.

I’m not a dress person usually but WOW the yellow version of this dress is so cute! It’s super flattering-I will just say it does run big, I’m usually a small/medium but I got the XS. SO recommend!

I actually don’t mind the V waist. Probably because I have a short stocky torso and it actually helps accentuate and lengthen my shape. Otherwise love the print and pockets. Agree w other reviews - can size down, I normally wear S but ordered XS and fit well

I got the cream seashell dress and I love it so much. I’m 5’4” and 112lbs (34A) and my usual XS fits well with plenty of room. I want to get the yellow now too.

So flattering! I haven’t felt so confident in a dress in a long time. The v waist gives the dress a great shape. It is also SO comfortable. I am typically between a L and XL. Went with a L for this dress and it fits perfectly

Comfortable, flattering, better quality than expected

Adorable summer seashell print, and great fit and flare shape. Unfortunately the trendy v-waist is really not flattering on most women. It’s just very super weird looking. The cute beachy fabric was really wasted on this dress.

If the smocked part of the dress has been straight across, without the weird V in the middle of the front, it would be such a perfect dress. The part is just unneccesary and makes the dress fit awkwardly. Wanted to love but had to return

Really not happy that Target told me this would be delivered on Wednesday when I purchased! Then they say Friday after I purchase …. Not happy because I wanted to wear this dress to my graduation Thursday:(

The material is thick enough to not be see through, while thin enough to be comfortable in the heat. The cut is super flattering and the print is adorable and on trend, while still being classic enough that it will be perfect after the tomato girl/coastal grandma/etc trends have ended. The pockets are an extra bonus. I tend to go between XS and S and purchased an XS for this dress.
