Not as smooth as the original full size jar
This isn’t as good as it used to be when it was in the full size jar. It’s runnier and not as smooth. It’s easier to stir but I’d rather stir more & get the original texture & size back. It’s also too expensive for the small size. Target is clearly having issues.

I am a huge fan of this almond butter. It tastes amazing. I love how smooth and creamy it is. It's made with only one ingredient, almonds! There's no added sugar, salt, or oils. It's easy to stir, but is a bit on the runny side. For me, that just means it's easy to spread and/or drizzle. I love adding it to my morning oatmeal, or making an almond butter and jelly sandwich. It's super delicious! While the jar is only 12 ounces, I find it works well for me and price-wise, is a much better value than other name brands of the same size.

I agree with many of the recent reviews. This is nearly almond oil. The consistency is liquid. It didn’t use to be that bad - as many other reviews stated. When they had larger jars this item was a much better quality. For quality and price, Sam’s Club has better clean almond butter (made with just almonds.)

I love the taste of the product but will never buy again due to the size/price ratio. I used to buy this constantly but skipped it for several months. I did an online order for it. When I took it out of the bag, I was astonished at the size of the new jars. It’s almost comical if it weren’t for the price of everything shooting up as well. Target almond butter is healthy and tastes good. I eat it almost daily. NO, the 1 star is not an error. I have been buying the 16 oz jar for a couple of years and suddenly i couldn't find it. Turns out they have decided TO USE MORE PLASTIC AND CHARGE MORE by wastefully now selling only 12 oz jars (at least where I live). Now I will have to purchase more plastic to get the same amount of almond butter as before AND pay more--big surprise, the price did not decrease proportionately I will be looking for alternatives rather than support this corporate behaviour
