Did not work for me
I had a hard time getting this set up. Be aware that it wants you to download yet another app to your smartphone (that's not a plus in my book). It does have 2 outlet options and seems sturdy enough for outdoor use.

Remote access to outside!
I haven't had a lot of time to use this outdoor adapter, but it works as expected. I am looking forward to using it with my Christmas lights this year to be able to turn outside decorations on and off!

Such a useful adapter!
This thing is something I didn't realize I really needed. I use it for a combination of sunroom the globe lights that surround and Christmas lights, but I think it would be really cool to have other outdoor lights and other outdoor things connected with that. The beauty of being able to control these things with the Alexa is extremely convenient. It is waterproof, there's outlet covers and you have to install it according to the instructions. A great idea!

Works Great And Easy to Program
I don’t usually have trouble setting up things but I’ve tried several times and cannot get this set up. I’m not giving up but this should not be that hard to get working so I am rather disappointed. UPDATE - I finally figured out how to get it set up. Operator error!! Once I got it working it was very easy to set up the schedule. I can’t wait to get my Christmas lights set up and enjoy the convenience of this. .

Easy and compact
This outdoor plug was just what my husband was looking for! This easy to use and doesn’t take up much space at all. We use this to turn off our outdoor lights long after we’ve gone inside for the night.

This is GENIUS. helped so much with our outdoor holiday light show! Also is helpful for outdoor cameras, so we have better signal strength. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, it’s a blessing to not have to worry about signal strength!

Great for outdoor spaces
Perfect for our back porch. We have low WiFi on the back of our house and this allows us to use our porch lights with a timer - the on switch with the old plug was hard to access and we lost the app needed to use it so this has made things much easier

Solid and dependable
Writing for the TP-Link Tapo Outdoor Plug. Coming from the TP-Link umbrella of products, I knew it would be a pretty good product. Everything on the plug is clear and using it is pretty easy. The fact that the TP-Link Tapo Outdoor Plug is Matter enabled made everything with setup even easier. I like being able to use my virtual assistant to say a voice command and activate the plug. This will be used in our Christmas light setup.

Nice Smart WI-FI plug.
This is my review. For this TO-Link Tapo Smart WI-FI Outdoor Plug. This is a really nice smart WI-FI Plug. It comes with an App. That you connect it to. Than you control it through the App. There is a lot of features that you can control. In the App. It can be used inside or outside. It is waterproof. I has 2 plug covers. To cover the plugs. That you are not using. This can reach up to 300ft. I like that it has a long range WI-FI. Makes it easier. For my to receive Wi-Fi in my garage or in my yard.

Multiple Uses
So far so good, the WiFi extension works great, no issues. It also has the plugs which you are able to connect to Siri, Alexa, google or on your home app on an iPhone. If Samsung has some app similar in pretty sure it would work too. App is also provided and it’s definitely user friendly. You can also set schedules for light’s and the like 1000% recommend!!

Good outdoor smart plug
This TP Link Tapo Smart Outdoor Plug works well. It was a bit tricky to set up with the app in order to control the smart plug (hence the one star removed). However, not being the most techie human, that could be a Me Problem and easier for others. Once I got it connected it was fairly easy to control through the app. It had two places to plug things in and will do well outdoors. Since it is too early to set up the outside Christmas lights, I tested it by plugging it into the outdoor outlet on the porch and used some small fairy lights. It worked! Can’t wait to decorate and be able to control from the app instead of having to go outside to turn the lights on and off.

Tapo, smart Wi-Fi Outdoor plug
The Tapo smart outdoor/indoor plug was easy to set up. It took me about 10 minutes, with downloading and creating an account in the app. It came straight up and I had no issues at all. I am using mine indoor, I can ask Alexa to shut off the light and turn it on, which I really like. You can also open the app and type it in if you are more comfortable with that option. It has 2 independent outlets, and you can set schedules and times if you would like to. The only thing that could be a bit better would be a longer cord. this cord is only a few inches long. I would prefer that I could lay it on the floor instead of hanging from its outlet. if the cord was longer I defeniately would give it 5 stars.

Outdoor smart home
This TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug is awesome! Setup was super easy through the Tapo app, and it connected to my Wi-Fi right away. I use it for my patio string lights and garden fountain — both turn on automatically at sunset thanks to the scheduling feature. It’s completely weatherproof, so no worries when it rains, and I love that it works with Alexa for hands-free voice control. Having two outlets that can be controlled separately is a big plus too. If you’re looking to extend your smart home outside, this plug is a must-have!

Awesome Smart Wi-Fi indoor/outdoor plug
Tapo smart wi-fi outdoor plug model TP25. This outdoor plug is remote controlled, has 2 independent outlets and has long-range wi-fi coverage. You must download the Tapo app. Set up is easy. IP65 weatherproof rating, schedule/timer and is voice controlled. Can be used with Apple home, Alexa and Google home. It has 2 outlet covers so you can cover the outlets that you are not using. It also comes with a clamp, screw and anchor to securely attach the plug if you decide to do so. Don’t put the clamp directly next to the outlet control unit as I found it easier to plug in an extension cord if you can flip up the unit so you can see the outlets. The unit is flame-retardant. It can be used indoor or outdoor. The working temperature range is -4’F to 122’F. This smart plug is working well with my Halloween decor and I can’t wait to use it with my Christmas decor! This will definitely be my go to outdoor plug. It comes with a 2 year U.S. warranty. Made in Vietnam

Easy to Set Up
The Wi-Fi plug was very simple to use. The plug has two outlets that can be managed separately. I think this outlet will be perfect for controlling outdoor Christmas decorations. The plug was quickly detected by Samsung Smart Things app on my phone but since I don't have a hub, I had to download the Tapo app. The app is very intuitive and you can set up and manage the outdoor plug simply from the app.

Power to the Patio!
Easy setup, user-friendly app, and dependable. It is weather resistant. The schedule and timer makes it a great option for automating outdoor lighting and decorations. I appreciate the voice control feature. It's great to use while on my patio!

Easy to add to your smart home
At my home, I connected this device through my regular Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz network without any troubles. This Tapo Wi-Fi outdoor plug offers, through the Tapo app, the ability to create custom schedules, timers, and an away mode to simulate activity when not at home, and can be integrated in the smart actions that can be defined in the app. I use both Google Home and Amazon Alexa, and was able to control the plugs using our voice assistants without having to think too much about it. I also have an old SmartThings, but I haven’t tried to add the plugs in the app, since it’s already working fine for my use, like asking an assistant to turn on and off outdoor devices (right now, our Halloween decorations). I don’t know that I really have what can be described as a “smart home ecosystem”, since I have so many different devices around my house, but, as far as integrating this Wi-Fi outdoor plugs, this was pretty seamless.
