Cozy convenience
This was a great purchase! Using it for our outdoor Christmas lights. We live in the bitter cold part of the Northland and instead of freezing my tushy off while plugging in my lights every night, I can now do it while sitting cozy inside. Or literally anywhere because I use the app on my phone!

Schedules do not work!
IFor the past few weeks, schedules do not work. The lights either turn off by themselves randomly or don’t turn on at the designated time. It’s really a waste of money.

Works but beware if using schedules
This outlet has worked for us as far as connecting to our lights, wifi, and app. However, if you are someone that is needing it for schedules, beware. We have it set for our Christmas lights and for whatever reason, the lights will turn off on schedule just fine but will never turn on on their own. This has been quite frustrating as this is specifically why I purchased. I've tried using sunset and even specific times but they won't turn on on their own, unless I turn them on myself.

Schedules don't work
It was easy for me to set up as I already had the cync app and several smart lightbulbs which work with no issues and follow their schedules. I don't know what is wrong with this plug, but it refuses to stick to any schedule. I even tried the workaround and used the Alexa app to make the schedule and it still won't cooperate. I've had holiday lights still off when they're supposed to be on or on at weird times like in the middle of the night. It only works when I manually turn it off & on in the app. I'm going back to my old school timer that at least worked consistently.

Junk
I purchased this at the beginning of summer and it just randomly stopped working. Can’t say it’s because of weather or rain because it’s not been cold enough and was barely gotten any rain. I’ve tried everything to reset it it just won’t even power on. I’ve tried multiple outlets in GE is just junk. Skip it. It might work in the beginning after you actually figure it out because it’s so complicated but it will die. Looking for a different company to purchase one from since I just wasted $30 on this junk.

We already had the app for lighting and we are using this for our outdoor holiday decorations…We don’t have to go outside or in the garage to turn them on or off… we have set the decorations on a timer… this is a great product!

Horrible
I’ve had this device for years now. Concept is great but the routines are VERY inconsistent. I have my outdoor lights to go on from 6pm-11pm. Woke up one night to them being on at 3am. This has happened multiple times. Sometimes they don’t even turn on. I like the two plugs and the app access but I can’t rely on it ever.

Worth the price
These smart outdoor plugs have become my go-to. No more needing light to set the lights on and off. The app is a bit weird to program at first, but I like that you can program each plug individually and pair multiple smart plugs into groups. Price is a bit high, but I think it’s worth the price of admission.

Dont waste tour time
Bought one, couldn’t get the right outlet to connect at all. Deleted and reinstalled over and over, no luck. Got a second one, looked like someone had returned it. It wouldn’t even begin the setup process (probably because it was still connected to their account). I don’t recommend.

Why so many negative reviews? I thought it was great!
I see lots of negative reviews. I’m not sure why but it seems they couldn’t figure out setup? I used the Cync app as instructed and everything was very straight forward. It took about 15 min no more. You go from screen to screen w a small set of instructions. Simple. Then I was prompted to connect Amazon Alexa or google home. I chose Amazon Alexa granted permissions to both apps and the switch appears in my Amazon Alexa app w my other smart devices. I easily set a routine for the plug so outlet one (my lights) go on at sunset and off at sunrise every day. I am able to set outlet two on a different schedule for my fog machine. You can use one outlet and not use the other which is convenient for my light and fog machine set up. I’ve now had it for about a week with no troubles. Today is the first heavy rain so we will see how it holds up, but so far everything is working as it should!

Hard to set up and then stopped working
It looked like easy setup through the app, but it ended up being very complicated and I wasn't even able to get the lights to work with the device. So it was returned. I'd save more time manually going outside to plug the lights in and turn them off.
