A: Yes, it contains baking soda which is a bleaching agent. It will ruin your clothes over time.

Q: i thought Native products were packaged in rigid cardboard? this packaging looks plastic? the only way i'd pay this much for deodorant is to escape plastic packaging.

Whenever I place an order I always throw in a mini deodorant. I leave it in my pocketbook bc I never know when I’ll need it. Small enough yet good enough quantity to last for awhile.

I’m generally not someone to write reviews. I’m trying to go natural for underarm deodorant. This had the best reviews so I went with it. It would only last about half the day and require a second application. I don’t have a lot of body odor so that was surprising that it couldn’t keep up. After about 1-2 weeks of consistent use I was noticing lumps at my underarms which is concerning being a woman and all. I didn’t at that time contribute it to the use of this deodorant. After another 2-3 weeks of painful lumps under both underarms I googled it. Sure enough, the ingredients in this brand can clog pores and cause this. I immediately stopped it and switched to another popular brand natural deodorant and have had zero lumps and issues.

Purchased on a recommendation from Cindy at Solis Mammography. She was the best tech when I went for my annual mammogram. With her many years of experience she mentioned avoiding aluminum based deodorants and said this worked for her. I knew I might have to try a few before I found one that worked for me. Right away I loved the smell of coconut and vanilla of this Native deodorant. P.S. I don’t miss my aerosol cans fogging my bathroom or lungs. :/

Smells amazing but it is very very dry and doesn’t really prevent perspiration so you might sweat through it and smell as the day progresses. Not a heavy duty deodorant for the price. There are better aluminum free options that perform as good as a traditional deodorant, smell great, and cost a fraction of the price of Native. Don’t buy into the hype like I did. Unimpressed.

Wanted to try this as Dove aluminum free isn’t quite working for sweat. I think I’m allergic to the tapioca starch in this product because after one use my armpit is all red. It’s unfortunate because I think it would work well, after one use I didn’t smell today.
