Q: Do these adhere strong enough for outdoor trash cans?

submitted by Suep - 5 months ago

  • A: Hi! Yes. The stick-on Febreze Trash Odor Fighter works for outdoor trash cans (95-gallons) too, which can become smelly / odorous. You will need to use 3 - 4 devices to provide the best odor fighting for the larger trash can. Also, make sure you clean and dry a patch on the inside of the trash can lid before sticking the devices on.

    Best Scent ever

These are the best smelling scents for any trash can. It was so easy to stick on the lid of the can and since it's a step lid, you get a good smell every time. It's been on over 30 days and still smelling great. Have already bought more refills.

    Febreeze trash freshener

Eazy to use, make sure to clean surface going to place the air freshener, the scent is a bit strong but glad it is, because it's for the trash! also the scent stays in place, it doesn't linger or venture beyond the trash can. Overall it's a good product!

Nothing like a breath of lemon... coughdrops?

I like scented things, and even I think this is a very strong scent that lingers a couple minutes. It's not a natural lemon like when you zest a peel or squeeze juice. It's lemon menthol cough drop. But it works? In kind of the same way that turning up music drowns out unpleasant sounds. So I can't tell if the smell is gone or this smell is just louder. But I no longer smell cat litter bags.

    Works great & good scent!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff works! I no longer keep a diaper genie in our room since my daughter is older & potty trained, however she still uses overnight pull ups since she’s still little — these odor fighters for the can work great! they essentially suction cup to the inside. they advertise a flip top can — but I just place mine on the inside side of ours & it still works just as good. I feel like it didn’t last as long as it should’ve, but that could’ve also been user error? Either way the scent smells great & it definitely works at combatting the odors!

    Way too sweet and overpowering

Made my trashcan just smell like perfumed garbage, which was somehow worse than just the smell of kitchen trash on its own. The scent is cloyingly sweet and makes you feel like you’ve stuck your head in your great grandma’s bathroom potpourri bowl. If that’s what you’re after, the pros are that it was easy to assemble, definitely had lasting fragrance, and can conveniently be stuck to any smooth surface.

Our products undergo rigorous quality checks, and your feedback is important to our Quality Assurance Team. No more smelly trash

If you have a small home like I do then this is a game changer. I have a Joseph and Joseph trash can which came with a filter to help with smells. However it really did not work well because there were so many times I would have to take the trash out early before the bag was even halfway full due to smell. the Febreze trash odor fighter makes it so my home never smells and I no longer need to change the trash bag till its 100% full. which is a win win.
