Q: Why doesn't Megatron transform into the gun like the 40th anniversary movie did. He wasn't ever a tank in the first generation of Megatron. Doesn't seem not right to the 50 year old kid inside.

  • A: Due to legal regulations and Hasbro Policies. I know it sucks but it’s all about safety liabilities whereas they don’t want anyone mistaking it as a real gun. Also consider the fact that in the show he transforms into a Walther P38, a real life weapon, which can easily be mistaken for an actual gun.

  • A: If Takara Tomy decides to make one, you would have to get it imported and hope that it doesn't get held at customs. That is the only way we would get another gun mode Megatron. Their laws on this aren't the same as they are in the U.S.

    Order never received. Target cancelled my order.

    I placed a preorder and was notified that order would be delayed. I went ahead and approved the delay 2 or 3 times. Then a few weeks later I get a notification that my order was cancelled. There seems to be a lot of Target customers that are dealing with the same issue as me. I’m not preordering Transformers from Target again. Boo, Target!

    Unecessary but cool!

    Hasbro being Hasbro said “let’s better fit the toon accurate color and get rid of those weird blue legs the original figure had except now he’s battle damaged!” Oh well, I still bought it and I think it’s cool. Completely unnecessary pick up but if you’re a fan of the 1986 movie, theres no harm in getting this to recreate iconic scene.

    Great figure, terrible packaging

    The figure itself is amazing and looks incredible, however, the way I received the packaging is pretty unacceptable. The box Target delivered it in was in good shape, however opening up the package I finally received after several delays in shipping the product to find the box damaged was quite frustrating. I would only recommend the product if you are able to see the packaging before you buy it.

    It’s a good figure. Don’t pay attention to people who are complaining in the comments. They’re blaming Target for things that are out of their control. Target cannot ship out what has bro has not given them. Yes it didn’t come out about the time that it said it was supposed to, but that’s not Target’s fault. Their Optimus prime did. Hot rod did. You have to check your emails daily. I have no issue’s extending the back order date all three times.

    Stop ✋️ with the bad reviews.

    I know many of you are upset, I get it. But here's the thing. If you give Target some patience they'll get it shipped to you quickly once in their possession. I ordered mine the same day I ordered Optimus when they became available. We all know that was a few weeks back. Please consider changing your reviews once you get yours in hand.
