It provides great traction to prevent slips due to water which drips A LOT on our kitchen floor. It’s pretty comfy to stand on and easy to clean since it’s rubber. It’s a good size as well for my standard kitchen!

That being said, I think that this is great in a garage setting by a workbench or anywhere that you’ll be standing for a while in. It is fantastic quality, works super well, allows for spills, and does exactly what it says. It will do. It does have a very strong rubber smell at first, so be aware of that.

I will try to be as detailed as possible in my review since if you are reading this, you might be like me in analyzing products before making a decision on them. Durability: This mat has a good level of thickness (see second pic) and the rubber feels strong so I see it lasting a long time but only time will tell. Comfort: I know restaurants frequent uses these mats in the kitchen so employees don’t slip but also so their legs don’t get tired as they are cushioned so I wanted to test to see how it would be bare feet. Figured I could use this in my kitchen to see how it feels when I’m doing the dishes and it was much more comfortable than I expected. I only noticed the holes in it the first couple days and then just stopped noticing. Size and Use: Good use for this mat would be outside of a hot tub or pool since it has good drainage with the holes and has good grip but unfortunately I don’t have either so I used it in the kitchen. The size was large enough so it takes up the entire width of the kitchen sink so you aren’t stepping off of it while doing dishes. After using it, I also thought it would be a good doormat as it would be easy to clean and would drain easily when it rains/snows.

The rubber grip has really helped us to keep from slipping when coming in from the rain. I would recommend letting it air out for a few hours outside because of the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still has a fairly strong rubber smell even a couple weeks out of the box, but this works really well as a mat for our boots. I have an absorbent bath mat underneath, and it lets the boots drain and dry quickly.
