52" Sotto Ceiling Fan with LED Light Brushed Nickel - Hunter Fan: 6-Blade, Wood Composite, Remote Control, ETL Listed

I installed a Sotto fan after an earlier Hunter fan I ordered/installed did not work as advertised. That said, so glad I installed a Sotto vice the earlier fan. While maybe a bit more challenging to install compared to other Hunter fans, once up and running, I'm very happy with this fan. It is amazingly quiet, and the increased air flow at any speed is very obvious. Plus, it has a nice appearance, especially the fresh white color. Bottom line, very pleased with the Sotto.

I purchased two Sotto fan lights - one was perfect, but the other one was faulty, so I had to send it back. When I received the replacement, it came with a completely different-colored downrod with some stripes on it. I asked for the correct part, but was sent the same pinkish/yellowish piece again. When I contacted Support, they informed me that Model 50977 - Sotto with LED Light (52 inches) has been upgraded, and the design has changed. Important note: The light no longer comes with all-white pieces—the middle section is a different color. I've attached pictures to show the difference, and it’s quite noticeable. Unfortunately, I don’t like how it looks. I’ll live with it for now, but I’ll definitely need to replace it in the future. Just a heads-up for anyone considering this model!

This fan is what we were looking for—it’s very quiet and has great air flow on medium speed. It has an updated look and fits unobtrusively in our four-season sunroom. The remote is ok but doesn’t have the various speeds shown, just arrows so you don’t know which speed you’re on. It’s not a deal breaker though.

Fan looks good, performs well, great light. My only issue was that one light kit shaft was not straight, which caused the light to have a gap on one side. This is something that QC should have noticed before shipping. Was very disappointed because Hunter is a leader in the fan business. If someone wants to contact me I have pictures of the shaft. Great looking fan with modern lines and simple, clean light globe shape. Easy to install, extremely quiet and wobble-free. The fan comes with two 3000K LED bulbs which we found to be a bit blue in spectrum, so replaced them with 2700K bulbs and very happy overall.

I am very pleased with my new ceiling fan! I love how the hardware is identified with shapes on each package, it made it so easy to assemble and the step by step pictured instructions were very easy to follow. It looks exactly like the pictures on the web site and runs quietly and powerfully..

This fan is in the family room, and is perfect for the area. The style is what I would call 'modern', with the fan blades being on a slant, and the bright finish, it provides a great look along with excellent air movement -- the air circulation is excellent even on a low setting.

The fan was installed this weekend. It is just beautiful in my new renovation. Perfect balance of new/traditional look. Sleek and attractive. Love it!!

The fan/light is used in the kitchen (large area with domed ceiling) and I was expecting a certain brightness that just wasn't there. They provide 2 9 watt bulbs which is the equivalent of 2 60 watt (120 watt total) incandescent bulbs. The instructions are little confusing but I think that you can use15 watt bulbs (100 watt equivalent). Hopefully that will help but not be a cure because the light that it replaced had 4 100 watt equivalent bulbs.

I love the remote for it, and it comes with a wall cradle that you can mount beside your bed so its less likely you'll lose it. The remote allows you to quickly and easily (and without having to get out of bed!) change the speed of the fan, the directions (to switch from summer to winter use), and lets you dim the lights too! This fan looks very modern, classy, and sleek. The six blades move a good amount of air, and even more impressive is that its quiet, really makes sleeping more enjoyable and comfortable and easy. The install wasn't too bad, and the instructions provided were easy to follow, but I'm also pretty handy around the house so these kinds of things come a little easier to me. The fan came with two down rods (short and a little longer) so you can have some versatility/flexibility in the mounting of your fan. The fan doesn't feel cheap, so I don't question its durability. My next project will be to replace all other ceiling fans in my home with this Hunter Sotto fan, I can't recommend this enough!

I was able to install the ceiling fan myself. Once installed, however, we found that there is a continuous “muffled squeak” when running at the medium speed. When Hunter was questioned about this, they said to uninstall the fan and return it to them with POP. As if I have the time to go through that process. Product should have been made right and quality control should have identified the problem.

Brushed nickel finish and matte nickel blades with cased white glass with LED light makes this fan stylish and would look great with any decor or in any room. The blades are designed to look like they are going continuously and look great when it is off. We installed it in an add on room and the fan cools it down in no time at all. It has SureSpeed that is guaranteed high speed cooling and it really does the job and has a whisper quiet motor as well as the reverse button for downdraft in the winter to keep heat down. It has 3 mounting options: angled, standard and low and comes with the necessary hardware. Love that this fan has a remote, so no reaching for pull strings and it comes with batteries, plastic holder and adhesive strip to hang on the wall for safe keeping. It has 3 setting speeds; high, medium and low and on, off and dimmer for the LED light and 2 9W LED light bulbs are included. After unboxing the well packaged box and following the directions, it took about 2 hours to install. The final result looks amazing and cools down the room quickly. I would highly recommend Hunter 52" Sotto Ceiling Fan with LED Light for any decor and cooling velocity!

Easy instructions and installation since I had an existing ceiling fan in the room. It works great. Love the multi speeds and 5 blades for more air circulation. Yes I recommend this ceiling fan.

Easy to use and pretty easy to install. Simple and chic. Also like that it was a led, so I know i don’t need to replace the bulb frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has a different color than your ordinary white and brown fans, and the blades are different too, more like 2021. I wanted the larger fan blades since we have a 14 foot vaulted ceiling and plenty of room. I love the fact that it has a led light to it and no worrying about changing bulbs any time soon. Easy to install like your ordinary fan.

I wanted to give some time before writing my review in order to have a good experience. I am more than happy with the fan. First, it is very easy to mount, the notice is clear and all the pieces needed are included. Just one little thing, the pale assembly could be a bit easier if there was a mark to signal that the holes are in line. Second, the remote control is really a plus Indeed my hardware switches are not located in an easy access, but now no problem. The fan and the remote connect themselves no need to do anything special. Third, the fan is very efficient. If needed, you can change the rotation by a hard switch on the fan. The remote control adjusts perfectly the rotation speed. The LED light is also great, you can even dim with the remote control. In summary, this fan is great, easy to assemble, efficient, easy to use and the look is great. I definitely recommend it.
