My son was really excited for this toy, but within 30mins of crawling on the wall the suction stopped. I thought maybe it needs to be charged so I charged it for him to use on christmas the next day and no suction at all only walks on floor.

Unsatisfied
My five year old daughter was adamant that she wanted this toy so we were open to letting her choose it. The fly was loud, did not crawl on the wall it stuck to the wall for a bit and then just slid down. It didn't even crawl on the ground very well at all and made a horrendous noise.

Dangerous - do not buy
Just like others stated, my boys really enjoyed this toy and then it started smoking so we are no longer comfortable using it. Bummer.

CAUGHT FIRE!!!!
This fly toy started smoking and sparking when my son was driving it on the floor!! It stunk so bad! DO NOT BUY! I'm taking it back for a full refund. *Also* This fly does not actually crawl on the walls. Not a single vertical surface worked.

Does not work on walls
I bought one, it didn't move on the wall and fell off constantly. So I exchanged it and the same thing. These don't work on the wall or ceiling. On the floor they're pretty good, easy to control. We really wanted it as a fly on the wall for Halloween.

Really wanted to like this, but it didn’t work didn’t climb the walls & work. Funny all the 5 star reviews were from people who got it free for honest opinion, don’t think they are, just don’t trust them anymore. Would have been cute but needs some more work

Worked first time then died
Lasted one time. At first the kids loved it, the cat jumped all was good - but it never worked again. Bummed, the kids were sad, I returned it because the box hadn’t even made it to the recycle bin yet - that’s bad.

Caught ON FIRE!!! There was so much smoke coming out of this thing. We opened it and played for maybe 5 minutes before it started smoking everywhere. DO NOT BUY!

Hi Emily - Thank you for your feedback. The Terra Remote Control Housefly should work on any flat wall. (It won't work on a brick wall, for example). Please be sure that all of the fabric is away from the bottom of the fly, to ensure good suction. If this suggestion doesn't help, you may want to consider taking the fly back to Target for an exchange. We did significant testing on various walls to ensure the fly would work universally. Super cool toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cool toy for any age! It captures a kid’s attention and is totally a hit! It can go on wall and do some interesting moves if you want to explore like older kids. For younger kids, it’s also fun and even builds different visual motor skills in play development. I would highly recommend it to your child or even as a gift idea to other children!
