I use the aerosol version when we go hiking, camping, or even just grilling in the backyard around dusk. The mosquitoes are ruthless where I live, and Deep Woods is one of the few that actually keeps them away for hours. ✅ What I like: The protection is solid. I can be out for 6–8 hours and not get bitten once. It works on gnats and no-see-ums too, not just mosquitoes. 🚫 What I don’t like: It has a pretty intense smell — that classic bug spray scent — and it leaves a slightly greasy feel on the skin. I’ve gotten used to it, but I definitely wash it off as soon as I get inside. 👧 For Kids – OFF! Kids I’m cautious about what I put on my kid’s skin, especially since they tend to rub their eyes or chew their fingers. The OFF! Kids formula is super helpful. It’s DEET-free or has just a tiny amount, depending on which version you get. ✅ What I like: It’s gentle, non-sticky, and doesn’t irritate my kid’s skin. The smell is also way more subtle, which is a plus when your kid is already cranky from being outside. 🚫 Watch out: The protection doesn’t last long — we reapply every 90 minutes or so if we’re outdoors for a while. It’s a trade-off for being kid-safe. 🔚 Bottom Line Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Especially the Deep Woods for adults and OFF! Kids for the little ones. Is it perfect? No — the smell, greasy feel, and short duration (for kid-safe versions) are downsides, but they’re small prices to pay for not getting eaten alive. Pro Tip: I keep a can in the car and one near the back door. I also pair it with citronella candles for extra coverage.

My kid is 13 and I use it for the both of us honestly. I applied it once and I would say it lasted the entire day because she didn’t get bit.

The switch is not easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Off Mosquito Repellent has a seat at the fire table all mosquito season long!! Candles weren’t cutting it this year, so I gave this a try. Within seconds of applying, I no longer had mosquitos around me. I didn’t mind the light sent and the bottle has lasted a long time despite being used almost daily. Once applied, i don’t have to think twice about enjoying these long summer nights. Must have!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer is upon us and we get really busy with outdoor activities with the pool parties, out door bbq’s on the patio or playing a good game of kickball. We won’t go outside until OFF is applied because as much as we love going out we don’t want to think about mosquitoes. OFF provides the protection we need that is easy to apply and fragrance free. My little one has sensitive skin and we have no issues with OFF.

This was a mess. The spray is more like a strong drip where I had more running down the can and all over my hand than spraying onto my legs. When I tilted it trying for a better angle, the liquid literally poured right out of the nozzle! I used 360 to get this while on vacation so returning isn’t an option but I wholeheartedly 100% do NOT recommend this “spray.” Absolutely two thumbs down and a waste of $9.

Doesn’t have to much scent to it but it is easy to apply over the skin and lasts a little longer than expected. Just need two or three different layers of it for it to work.

It seems to be effective at keeping mosquitos away when I take my dog out for afternoon walks and golden hour at the park! It’s not really aerosol in my opinion.. it’s more of a liquid spray that quickly dries. It doesn’t feel bad when putting it on though, and it’s non-greasy.
