Levi's 501® Original Fit High-Rise Women's Jean Shorts

Wow…. so I don’t typically write reviews, but I am always in search of a good pair of jean shorts….And I found them! these are awesome. The only negative I would say is the fact that it’s a button closure but other than that, they’re awesome. They not too tight, they wide enough for your legs and are “mom pouch” friendly.

The button fly is horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 501 Original Jean Shorts for free from Levi's & Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I usually prefer Levi's over other brands, and these shorts are no different. The denim is very durable and doesn't lose its shape throughout the day. Because there isn't much of a stretch, and you do have to keep that in mind when sizing. Because of the durability, all of my Levis last season after season, and these are no different. The Original 501 are considered high rise, and I think they sit really confortably on my waste. The 501 is a classic style I continuously go back to and would recommend to anyone.

I thought paying for a better brand the shorts would not roll up during wear or after wash. They roll up just like all the other shorts. I do not want iron my jean shorts! But I love the style and fit.

I have similar ones that fit me differently me. They are comfortable everyday shorts that can be dressed up or down. Love the look of them and the quality is amazing. I would definitely recommend these to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love them !!! I got a size 28 which is perfect! I'm like a size 6 normally. It gives you shape! Perfect for the beach summer or 4th of July!! Levi's is the best they're thick but not stretchy. I would size up if anything

Perfect, almost identical to ones sold at Tillys but for much less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts itself are very cute and I love shorts with rips although I’m a little upset they didn’t fit me. They are meant for someone who has a flat stomach and there’s no room to breath. I would say size up

(TTS size 24) It's hard for me to ind jeans that aren't too loose around my waist but also not too tight on the hips. These were literally perfect ! Even the 501 shorts sold at Levi's don't fit right

These are not soft denim which to me means they are durable and won’t fall apart after a few wears. They are also button fly which I really like!

They are super cute and stylish.

Excellent fit and flattering. If you are smaller framed, I think they are true to size. I am 5’7” 115, with a 25” waist 35” hips with thinner legs and butt. The 25 was a perfect fit, not too tight or too loose. I also noticed the style is slightly different for the frayed vs non- frayed versions and the frayed styles were more flattering. I ordered the “quiet riot” color.

The picture for the “Lunar black” shorts does not match what is in the store. The shorts in the picture show dark gray shorts with a raw edge and no other distressing, which is what I wanted. The website indicated there were plenty in stock. When I got to the store, there were no shorts matching the picture. All these Levi’s shorts were together at the front of the women’s section so I did not just miss them. Instead, there was a style in actual black with a large ripped chunk at the bottom of just one leg of the shorts. There is no online picture matching this black style I saw in the store, so I believe they just used the wrong picture, of the dark gray shorts they don’t have, at least not in the store. I ended up buying a different color.

These are great but they run 2-3 sizes small for those with a booty! For reference my measurements are 26” waist and 38.5-39” hips. I normally wear a 28/6 in jeans. My target didn’t have any in my usual size so I grabbed a 32 just to try. They were actually comfy in the hips/thighs which is hard to find for a pear shaped girl!! But of course the waist was huge. I’m going to order a 30 and hope they fit a bit better in the waist but they’re still comfy through the hips/thighs!
