Women's Corset Linen Midi A-Line Dress - Universal Thread™

It's really cute but needs some alterations for it to suit me. I'm 4'11", and on me, it's longer than I want. Also, the straps, while generous, are a bit too stringy. They feel like twine. I may have excess fabric to make straps once I hem it. Also, I went up in size to better cover my bust, but now it gapes, so I'll have to add tighter elastic across the back panel. It's very cute but will take adjustments to fit better. The fabric has some structure to it (not washed yet). It isn't see-through (I got the blue stripe). It has pockets. The sale price is good. That's the most persuasive part. Oh, and the bodice half is a faux button placket. It doesn't actually open. The skirt portion does unbutton. The weird part is that the buttons on the bodice pull in an unflattering way. Don't know how I'll fix that yet. It feels like it has great potential and I would recommend. It may fit others better right off the rack.

I really wanted to love this and it had so much potential. The cut is classic and flattering. It's easy to wear and has pockets. I saw some other women who were well indowed rocking it in the pictures so I was hopeful. I tried both the L & the XL in all of the colors and they just did not work for me. There just is not much fabric vertically from the "corset" waist to the top of the dress. There is a similar dress with no buttons and a more simple bodice area that is straight across that is more large bust friendly but a different look.

i love this dress!! It surprised me how flattering it is on. I am pretty small chested, so dresses can sometimes look silly on me. This really compliments my body type and the simple, summery look is just what I wanted for a casual to dressy look for warmer wather ahead. I love the stripe!!!!

Such a cute, flattering dress. Tts and fits so well. The blue/white color isn’t see through at all. And the pockets are so nice!

Cute but the straps seem oddly placed and the bust area runs small if you have a larger chest (34d) I ordered a medium - my usual size.

For the price this dress can't be beat. I bought the white and the striped and love both. With a cute pair of sandals it's all you need on hot summer days as the linen blend material should keep you cool. You don't even need to wear a bra as the corset style top keeps you modestly covered and lifted. I am 5 feet tall and 120 and the small fit perfectly hitting at a good point mid calf. On taller girls, it will hit below the knee. Yes, the white dress does show the pockets, but linen is like that even in more expensive items. It's meant to have a casual vibe. It doesn't show underwear lines at all though since it's not fitted from waist down, so no need to wear a slip.

The white is see through which is unfortunate because it's really cute on. The blue and white looks great!

I bought this in black and blue, and both options are so flattering!! I’ve set alarm point and have a pretty big stomach and the dress is still so flattering, not to mention comfy! I love the fabric. I need them to keep releasing this dress in new patterns!!

Very cute dress, I bought my normal size and it fits like a glove. I love to buy dresses that I can wear on a normal everyday and at work. Highly recommend buying!

Fantastic little dress for summer, the sale is great and given it’s white it’s not completely see through. I liked it so much i bought two!

This is a flattering dress and I like the cut, but the White is see-through. You can see the pockets and nearly my belly button. You can add a slip that will help but you can still see the pockets and it cheapens the look.

I absolutely adore this dress! I am 5 feet tall and 113 lbs and the xs fit me perfectly. Sometimes longer dresses look weird on me or drag on the floor because I’m so short, but this dress hit mid calf on me and is so flattering! I want to go back for the white one now!

I love the cut, it’s the perfect summer dress. Unfortunately the white option is see-through in the skirt. I’d love to see other solid color options. I’m 5’5 and 140 lbs with a smaller chest and the size small fits well.
