I ordered the size 4 (my regular size) and the 6 based on other reviews. The chest is very tight on the 4 but the 6 fit great. It’s heavy denim & seems of good quality. The fit on the larger size (6) is flattering.

This is such a cute dress, I love it. I see a lot of reviews about the sizing, so I thought I’d join in. I am 5’6, bust waist hip being 35’28’39, bra size 30DDD, I feel like I’m usually a size 8, but with this dress, I got a 6. The size 6 fit perfectly, other than my waist where it was a little loose, I tried on the 4 and it was cute too, but the chest area looked a little strange with the buttons.

I loved this dress when I received it in the mail. The dress is well made and it looks just like the picture. The only thing I had a problem with is it runs real small in the bust area. It fit me great but the bust area the buttons were straining and I am not a large busted woman. I had to return.

I am 5'3, 165lbs and usually between a 6 and 8. I ordered an 8 and it was a perfect fit. The cut of this dress works well for my smaller bust and wider hips. And it is nice to find a cute denim dress that isn't short. I may order the black wash as well.

I love this dress! So cute, simple, and chic for every day. I ordered an 8 the first time, and like other reviewers said, it was too tight across the top button. I sized up to a 10 and it fits perfectly. I agree the sizing is off, but sizing up worked for me. I am 5’ 2”, 150, 36 B. The denim is heavy, but so soft and washed feeling. I think it does have a bit of stretch but not a lot. It looks so cute with some cowboy boots or simple sandals, and I think in the fall it will be adorable with some tall boots and a cardigan.

I read each review and decided to order larger than my standard size. I have a large bust (G-cup), 150ish lbs, 5 feet 7.5 inches tall. Ordered a size 10 and also a 12, to be safe. I was swimming in the 10 —hips, bust, waist, shoulders. I didn’t even take the 12 out of its package. I’d like to switch it for an 8, but feel like all of this is wasteful so I’m just going to return it and pass. My recommendation is to buy your standard size. For someone that always has an issue with the chest being too tight, this was just too big. For reference, I ordered black.

I have ordered this in the blue denim and now the black. This is such a great fit, great quality and super cute! I recommend 10/10!

I'm giving this a 3 because I think if you have a small chest, it may work for you. I'm typically a size 8/10 max in dresses, with a 36DD. I ordered the 8... not a shot. The chest button was STRUGGLING. So I ordered a size 10... the button closed, but the gap was too much. I would really like to try a size 12, but I got a great deal on the first 2, and they have been regular price since. I have one riding around in my cart, in case they do go on sale.

Well made - love the style, the sizing way off. I ordered both the black and blue since this looked like it would be a go-to dress. Unfortunately, while both labels say Size 12, the black was a bit roomy, and I literally could barely get the blue buttoned at the hips, and could not button anything above the waist. Ridiculously lacking quality control. I am returning both that I ordered from the website. I haven't seen them in my local store, otherwise I would try them on in person. I am afraid to pre-order due to the crazy sizing issue. Too bad, it would be a great dress! n.

The fabric of the dress felt pleasant to the touch, indicating a good quality. It was also quite comfortable to wear, as the weight was not excessive. However, a more streamlined silhouette might have been preferable. Perhaps a different design for the skirt could have enhanced the overall look. Ultimately, a slightly different cut could have created a more balanced and flattering appearance.

Quality item, 100% cotton with nice sturdy buttons. I tried on 3 sizes and none were a perfect fit unfortunately. Since there’s very little stretch, it just isn’t very forgiving if it doesn’t work with your proportions. But with Target’s generous return policy, I’d recommend giving it a try. If it had fit better in the chest for me, it would’ve been a 10/10 both on its own or layered over a blouse.

Would have been so cute if I had a smaller chest. Even sized up and still didn’t fit.

This dress was far too small to be the stated size.
