The table arrived today, and there are missing/worn paint at every intersection of material. The magnetic hinge is busted, and the door is bent to be slightly off center, which makes opening and closing without physically lifting the heavy table nearly impossible. I took photos of additional damages but only six are allowed to be posted. It is not meant to be fully separated to offer two distinct tables, which was one thing I hoped it would do (it can be pulled apart, but to do so means that one table will lose its support). The design could be improved with a single and detachable leg (painted orange). The box it came in was relatively undamaged, and it was packed well. That said, I can't tell if this was either a display model placed in a sunny window or refurbished after lengthy use, but it's definitely not new, and not worth the price I paid. I was hesitant to buy this from Target as there are knock-offs with the same aesthetics for 1/4 of the price that can be found online, and with similar reviews from buyers that I just experienced. I decided to buy from Target because they've been reliable and trusted in the past. I like the look and function, but it fails to satisfy for the hefty price. If I could redo this purchase, I'd avoid buying from Target, and look at one of the online knockoffs, or better yet, find someone local to make it so that the table functions as two separate, and nested tables with a support beam.
