Cute shirt dress, fits true to size. Fabric is a mix of cotton and linen/gauze feeling. It’s thinner than it looks and can be a bit see through. Just be careful on what you wear underneath.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sister wears a medium and right away when she saw that a medium was available for purchased, she jumped on the opportunity and ordered it. It has a nice shape without being too tight and the fabric feels soft and comfortable. The length hits nicely above the knee and the style is really easy to dress up. The collar and button details give a little extra something while still keeping it simple. It’s a great go to piece for warmer days or layering with a jacket. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something comfortable and cute but you can throw on and go. I received an incentive to write this review.

The fabric is very forgiving and comfortable. I love the sweater material. I'm 5'4 so the length isn't too short. I sized down to XS because I think universal thread runs one size bigger than other target brands. Love the collar detail which dresses it up a bit. Bought the blue stripe.

It is slightly fitted, but very comfortable and a very comfortable length for me. I think it would look really cute belted as well or paired with a cardigan or light jacket. I think the quality of the fabric is great. It’s a good quality but also Nice and thin for the summer. I received an incentive to write this review.

Cute dress. Wish it had pockets. Fabric was soft and the length was perfect. The collar was too wide like a Peter Pan collar or lapels. Buyer beware. Otherwise it’s a cute casual dress.

Normally I wear size M, but this dress can down one size can fit perfectly. But I will not put inside the dryer in case getting smaller

I bought this in the store in striped navy and it fit great. I ordered the solid navy online in the same size and it was snug and hung strangely in the front. I liked the color and style , but the inconsistency in fit was a little disappointing. I’ll just enjoy the one that fit and I already returned the solid one. ( which was easy to do in the store! )

This has a forgiving and easy fit with a thick, but light polo material. It washed well and did not shrink. I’m 5’5 165lbs with hourglass shape, but carry weight in my stomach. This hides what I want without looking shapeless. Love it!

This t-shirt dress is a bit heavier than a regular t-shirt fabric, but that gives it great body. I'm 5'8" and it hits me about 2" above the knee, size medium. I always hang my clothes to dry so thinking shrinkage won't be an issue. This was a purchase for an upcoming vacation to England so the fabric and style will be perfect.

This is not a polo material but a thin sweater like texture. It’s highly narrow so it will be very fitted in waist and hips. I think the sizing is way small so super surprised to see someone say it’s big. I bought the navy color so maybe it’s different for each color? Unfortunately target brand clothes are really dropping in quality and this is a perfect example of that. Returning.

I always look for effortless summer dresses to be both cool and cute, and bought this in both colors. The material is a little thicker/heavier than I expected or would like, but I could see that being a benefit for people that need a little forgiveness in certain spots on their body. For me it just means I might be a little sweatier than I'd prefer. The placket for the buttons is both long and a little stiff, and if you are short I think it would actually be a problem. I'm 5'7" and it hits me where it does on the model but if you are any shorter I think it would mess with the shape of the dress. I'm a small/4 but always go down to XS in this brand and the same was true for this dress. I'm tall but like the shorter length - but I am generally comfortable wearing short dresses. I'm in my 40s but with athletic legs that I'm not afraid to show off. Another reviewer mentioned shrinkage - I'd never put something like this in the dryer, and washing it on cold + a little reshaping + laying it flat to dry worked just fine. The colors also didn't run on the striped version. For a dress at this price point from Target that I'll wear for one season, it's just fine and I'd suggest picking it up, especially on sale.

When they say "mini" they mean it. It will shrink to almost a tunic shirt length after a wash. Retuning it. Didn't even get to wear it once.
