This makes the best deviled eggs ever!! Also use In potato salad and macaroni salad. It makes such good potato salad that my granddaughters in laws say I have to make it for all gatherings!!

Being born and raised in Columbus Ohio, I grew up on Marzetti's. My grandmother and my mother always used it in deviled eggs and coleslaw. If there is any filling left when I make deviled eggs, I make a sandwich. I live in Wisconsin now and people always think sugar is added to my filling; just a little fresh minced onion using a box grater and that's all!

I think it should state in larger print and maybe on cover that it should be refrigerated, cuz my husband put it in the cabinet because he didn't see the small print on the back!

This dressing should be refrigerated even before opening because it doesn't have any artificial preservatives. It is usually sold in the produce section at the store. However, if it's left out of the refrigerator (or put in the cabinet) it can be okay in that location for up to 5 days if it hasn't been opened yet. If it has been in that location for more than 5 days, we don't recommend using it.

Upon reading prior reviews, I now see I can request a smaller jar of the slaw dressing and then I won't waste so much. But, I am curious. After the jar of slaw dressing has been opened and the remainder refrigerated directly after use, how long can I keep it in the refrigerator before it goes bad. I see the unopened date stamped on the jar but once opened, I'd like to know how long I can keep it. I also saw where people use it in potato salad and deviled eggs!!! Interesting.....I might try that and hope I use it up instead of throwing most of it out. Thank you!!

Just opened new bottle. It did not pour (previous problems) so I gave the "glass" bottle a [useless] squeeze. To my surprise, it was plastic {BOO!]. Then when I put it in the fridge next to an old bottle, discovered it was smaller than the one I bought last month! (Old bottle now being used for homemade slaw dressing.)

In the last few years, it's been difficult to get the glass jars for our refrigerated dressings. We decided to change from glass to plastic jars to make sure we have a good supply of the containers for our dressings. Despite the change in our container, the jars have the same 13 ounces of dressing. However consumers may feel like it's a smaller size because the plastic is not as thick as the glass, making it look like a smaller size. Also, the store does set the final price.

Delicious, perfect tasting slaw dressing. However soy and corn are the most highly GMO grown crops. Since your product contains soybean oil and corn vinegar, this is a genuine concern for those of us who are becoming health conscious. I would pay more for non GMO versions of your products. Because of the GMO concerns, I limit my use to once or twice a year.

For years my grandmother would never tell us her secret to her potato salad. When she finally go too old to make it and I started doing it for her she told me it was your slaw dressing..not potato salad dressing but the slaw dressing. This is how we make our deviled eggs everything. The only problem is I can no longer find the small jars like you used to have, buying the large ones I wast so much if I am just making a small batch of something for 1 or 2.

My chicken salad is always a hit because I use this dressing. It started as an accident many years ago because I didn't have enough mayonnaise for my recipe and this dressing was the only thing available. It took a while to perfect my recipe, but using this dressing satisfies people who don't like mayonnaise.

My sister in law used this on her cole slaw and I fell in love. Now I add lime juice, fresh cilanto, and jalapeno juice. It's wonderful!
