I think its the heaviest one I’ve had. Its a good thing though because the quality is great and I expect it to last for some time. It does have a rubber smell but the mat is outside so it doesn’t matter.

When looking at it you don't realize that around the letters Welcome there are pretty deep grooves. Which is really nice when trying to knock the snow or dirt off of your shoes. It helps to not have just a flat rug to clean the boots off.

I only had it a couple of days and when I went out the out my door I realized that they had a small tear in it. Then the next day the tear was bigger not 100% sure what made it tear but it did tear. I left it out there a few more days and I noticed it had another rip in it and the only thing I can think of is my husband's work boots. Other than that it does seem to be well made. And I love the design.
