Frah-gee-lay dinner plates
These have been our go-to plates for over 6 years and they were great, until they weren't. Over time, I've had to replace a few dinner plates because they've broken. I would give them a higher rating but I've had to replace 4-5 plates in the last year alone. I just bought one last week that broke in half as we put in the cupboard after the dishwasher. One had a spiral crack. I'm not sure what has happened in the manufacturing in the last couple years, but they are poorer quality. I no longer recommend these expensive “disposable plates”.

Deep blue stone dinner plates
Get these while you can, they just went on clearance for $3 and the colors as well as design is very beautiful and modern. Nice thick material so they are a bit on the heavier side.

Rims on plates CHIP EASILY! Not to mention if your dishwasher tunes are nice wide…theses will not fit properly. I’m still using what’s left of mine (3 sets) after 4 years…minus 10 salad plates).

Great shape, very durable
I've had these plates (and the rest of the set) for about 3 years now, and not a single one has broken. I came back to leave a review after I dropped one from 5 feet off the ground, and there wasn't a scratch on it after. My guests always say they love the lip on the edge of the plates which is both a nice look and practical in helping get food on your fork. The other reviews are correct in that the color and design did slightly change. The new ones are more gray and the edges are slightly more rounded. I have a mix of the old ones (like the picture listed) and the new ones and I don't mind that they aren't exactly the same as stoneware can vary anyway.

Good plate, but they are different than the same plate from a year ago. I broke a plate and needed a replacement. The store version and one I ordered online both don’t match the set I already have. Lighter gray, less speckled. Now I have to replace all of my dishes if I want to have more than three large plates.
