A: Thank you for the question, Alex. We are very proud of our Corelle products, which are made of Vitrelle, a tempered glass consisting of glass laminated into three layers. Corelle was first introduced by Corning over 50 years ago and in 2000 started to be manufactured by the company known today as Instant Brands. All Corelle products meet the safety standards at the time of manufacturing. As manufacturing and regulatory practices have evolved, so have Corelle products. We routinely test Corelle products for lead and cadmium contents at internationally recognized, third-party testing laboratories. This testing confirms that our products comply with applicable federal and state safety regulations.

A: Thanks for the question, M! Our Corelle Vitrelle plates are pre-heated conventional oven safe up to 350° F. Our Use & Care advises against warming up our plates in any appliance besides the pre-heated conventional oven or microwave.

I just finally decided to replace my old set of Corelle that my grandmother handed down to me when I got married almost 18 yrs ago. These are just like my old set...minus the floral pattern haha! Same quality, and feel, and cleans up so easily. The white is very crisp and clean. It will be easy to pair with any color for the holidays. My set did come with a chipped plate but Target was kind enough to send a free replacement.

I love everything about these white Corelle dinner plates. They’re easy to clean, lightweight, durable & timeless. I started my Corelle collection in 2015. Since then, only one bowl has cracked so far (that I can remember). I like that there are options in buying - as a full dinner set, by small bundles or individually. Personally, I buy the dishes separately and slowly build my collection. Though Corelle offers many cute designs, I prefer the plain-white color. My thought is that plain white will never go out of style.

Very very disappointed with this purchase from Target. I've had these plates for over a year now. Within a few months after the purchase, we started seeing black dots on the side on the plate and it's only gotten worse. I am unsure if these are real Corelle plates but

FYI Plates are very fragile. I’m afraid to use them they feel so thin. I received one plate with a small chip and another with scratches on the bottom.

Corelle is great it's so light weight and chip resistant and you can't go wrong with white. The only thing I don't like is over time you can see some scratches but overall I'm very happy with them.
