Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for plates with a pasta bowl silhouette to replace a set of heavy 12" square plates that we use when the 8" corelle are too small. So far, these Westfield plates don't disappoint. They're light-weight but don't feel fragile, they feel substantial as stoneware should. The sides are slightly raised. Not enough to make them practical for soup but perfect for pasta dishes with sauce, stews, etc. They were very reasonably priced compared to similar pieces I've come across. I was able to order 6 for what it would have cost for two from a different retailer. One of them, the one on the bottom, was shattered upon arrival. But Target had a new one at my door the very next day! This was much appreciated. I'm hopeful that my initial ratings stand the test of time. And my husband is so happy that we will be donating the square set to resale.

These plates are a great price and look good. They were too hot to touch when we put food on it though. It is important to note that the plate itself was not in the microwave or anything. We simply used the plate by placing food on it and it was too hot to hold at that spot. I guess they would be fine if you only used them for cold food. Others have mentioned the stickers being hard to get off and I agree. Yes, there are plenty of hacks to get stickers off, but tbh it shouldn't require us to do that. Regretfully, it is a hard pass on the plates.

I received some of these for my wedding shower and had to have more so I have a couple of each color. I like the design a lot the edges are a bit higher so they're perfect for scraping fork against to get the last bite or for pasta and stuff like that. And the clean great in dishwasher.

These dinner plates are generous and sturdy. The curved rim was a must because I tend to tip the plate as I'm walking with it. Being stoneware, it retains heat well. I usedt a warmed dinner plate on my leg last night to relax a knotted muscle. Also got an extra plate to use as a picnic table bird feeder -- love those high sided rims!
