These "plates" are very bowl like. They tend to make everything kind ooze into the middle and all the food becomes one, so if you like things being separate, don't buy these. They also do not fit in the dishwasher well since they are so round, they are too wide to fit in the plate rows.

Plates probably would’ve been nice. I had to order online as my store is out of stock. They were thrown in a box with ZERO packaging and arrived shattered. Box also was not tapped well and some shards were falling out as I brought the box inside. If they don’t have store availability don’t bother ordering.

Great Value For Plates and Others!
I love the solid black (have the matching bowls and mugs too). They're a good size, sturdy, dishwasher and microwave safe. Being stoneware I was concerned about that little bit on the bottom of the plate that's not painted and can tend to scratch the top of other plates when you stack them but that 'unfinished' bit was super smooth and no concern at all. I love Corelle but I wanted something I good work with and jazz up. And how can you go wrong for $3 a plate??? These bowls were $2 and the mugs were about $4. Very sturdy but usable!

Damaged - Return Function Didn't Work
Item arrived in a box that was clearly retaped. 8" of headspace in the box allowed for the loosely packed china to move about. All 12 plates were damaged. Hopefully I can return to my local Target, as the on-line return/damage report option returns a "Sorry. We are unable to process your request."

shipping mishap
great plate, i love the simple design & it’s a good quality. im just taking away one star not for the product but for the shipping. i ordered multiple of these plates & bowls of the same brand/material, it came all in the same box without any bubble wrap! one of the plates came broken so i had to order a replacement, i was surprised they didn’t come all broken since they are ceramic. anyways i love the plates! lol
