Q: how do i recycle the tank when empty!? we bought one last year and it was great until it was time to dispose of the tank. sad face.
A: We took ours to the county recycling center
submitted byKP - 8 years agoA: I followed directions I found on YouTube which showed me how to use a screwdriver and hammer to open the hole at the top of the tank to release all of the helium entirely. Then you use a permanent marker to circle the opened hole and write "empty" next to it and then I just put it in my regular recycle bins which get picked up bi-weekly.

Q: how many cubic feet of helium does this hold?

Q: Is this 80% helium, 20% oxygen? Or just helium?
A: Thanks for your review. To clarify, our tanks contain a helium/air mixture with not less than 80% helium, carefully formulated to float standard latex balloons for 5–7 hours and foil balloons for up to 4 days. Factors like balloon age, size, material, inflation, and even altitude can affect float performance. For even longer float times with latex balloons, use HI-FLOAT (sold separately), which prevents helium from escaping. Q: Does the helium expire? I had a tank for a bit with a lot left in it and none of the balloons floated after filling them up.
A: Hello and thank you for your question. Great question—and yes, helium itself doesn’t technically expire, but a few things can affect its performance over time: 🎈 Leakage: Our tanks are non-refillable and designed for one-time use. If the valve isn’t completely closed or the tank is stored improperly (like in high heat or humidity), helium may slowly leak out—even if the tank still feels full. 🎈 Pressure Loss: Helium needs a certain pressure to properly fill and float balloons. Over time, especially if the tank's been partially used and stored for a while, the pressure may drop enough that the balloons inflate—but won’t float.

Q: I have 18 x standard latex balloons, 2 x 31" foil balloons, and 2 x 21" foil balloons. How many tanks will I need?
A: Hello and thank you for your question. You should be fine with 1 Jumbo Helium Tank for your 18 latex + 4 foil balloons, but it will be close. If you want a safety cushion (especially if you overfill a few balloons), you might consider getting 2 tanks just in case.

Q: I have 6 40in balloons. How many tanks do I need?
A: Hello and thank you for your question. Balloon Time Tank Capacity: A standard Balloon Time 9.5 cu ft tank fills about: 3 to 4 mylar balloons (40-inch) 1 to 2 latex balloons (40-inch) How Many Tanks Do You Need? If using mylar balloons: 2 tanks (9.5 cu ft each) should be enough. If using latex balloons: You may need 3 to 4 tanks (9.5 cu ft each), depending on how full you inflate them.

Q: Hi, Can the valve be changed to a valve that tells you how much helium is remaining?
A: Hello and thank you for your question. We do not have anything like that for our helium products.

Q: how many balloons does this fill?
A: Thank you for your question. If you use the balloons provided in the kit, it will inflate all 50 of them. However, if you use different types of balloons, the number may vary.
