The Tranquility Weighted Blanket helps you fall asleep faster, remain asleep through the night and wake rested. This weighted blanket applies gentle, even, pressure across your body and helps calm and comfort people who have trouble sleeping, including those with conditions such as stress, anxiety, autism, ADHD, and PTSD. The Tranquility Weighted Blanket features a plush top fabric and a cool microfiber underside to keep you comfortable. For the best results, you should select a weight that is 8% to 12% of your total body weight.

Q: Will this fit a twin or queen size bed?

A: It's only 4ft wide by 6 ft long. It's a throw size so definitely won't fit a queen might be usable on a twin.

A: 93% glass beadsand the other is polyester fiber. It’s a little noisy.

Q: Is this safe to use? Will it get me sick? Being made of glass and all?

A: The glass beads are microscopic and leak through the fabric constantly. You will have glass beads everywhere. I'm returning mine because of this.

Q: Can you use or spray hydrogen peroxide on it since it it spot clean only? Just wanted to sanitize it before using.

A: a natural way to sanitize is using vinegar mixed with water. you could spray fabric softner on it to make it smell good too.

A: The recommendation for weighted blankets is 10% of body weight +1-2lbs. So for a 72lb child, you’d want a blanket between 7-9lbs.

Amazing sleep!
I toss and turn so much that my mattress is moved 6" every night. Due to excessive tossing and turning. First night with this blanket and my mattress is still in place this morning! I can't wait to see if I feel more rested in a week. It's not too hot just very comfortable. I had my doubts especially due to the weight. I will find or make a duvet cover for it since it is spot wash only.

Almost too heavy

I had heard good things about the comfort and calming effects of weighted blankets so I picked this up. However, it's REALLY heavy. The quality is great and I'm sure it's wonderful for some people, but I felt this blanket was too heavy for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Quilted Plush Weighted Blanket is very, very soft and extremely comfortable when it envelopes you with the calming weight distribution and, of course, its warmth. I have been sleeping really well(for the past couple weeks since having the blanket) without being all tossy turny and feel so relaxed when using it this blanket and I honestly wish now I had a weighted blanket long ago because I feel refreshed when I wake up. Very pleased with the softness and color and size and especially the comfort the blanket gives me.

The blanket is soft on the outside and the inside is like padded material. I sometimes get anxiety before bed which causes me to not be able to sleep and I've noticed that when I use this blanket it does help me relax and sleep

And the fabric is extremely soft and cozy - this is one of the softest weighted blankets I have felt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a weighted blanket, so I do not have a frame of reference, but overall this seems like a great product that I will enjoy having. It seemed quite heavy as a bundle, but spread out over me the weight felt super cozy. The microfiber is soft and comfortable, and the construction/stitching feels solid. It feels a bit warm for use now (I received it in the summer), but I can tell that in cooler weather this will feel great and become a favorite. Great size for one person if sleeping or could work for two people if used as a "throw" blanket.

Comforting!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this blanket when I am feeling very stressed. I carry my stress in my arms and neck. I can honestly say this blanket is very calming. I feel like I can get a good nights rest when I use it. I wake up feeling relaxed. 12 pounds seems like a lot but when I am sleeping it is comfortable. I can still move if I need to and the weight isn’t overwhelming. The blanket has a side that keeps me cool and doesn’t make me feel too hot. It holds enough heat to keep me comfortable, but not too hot. It is a good size for personal use! It does not look bulky when it is on the bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it’s a good weighted blanket. The wrapper it comes in is heavy duty! It is made to easily hold this weighted blanket. It also has a nice handle. The blanket has a soft side and a cotton feeling side. It seems well made. It’s not super big, but I do think it’s a good size. Personally, I guess I cannot use weighted blankets because this made my legs hurt when I woke up in the middle of the night. I’m sure every person is different though. It’s not for me, but I do recommend for those who can use weighted blankets.

Helpful Blanket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tranquility Quilted Plush Weighted Blanket works for my son who has a mild form of autism. He is a very restless sleeper, and this weighted blanket - which weighs 12lbs - seems to help him sleep much better at night. My son tosses and turns a lot less when this blanket is being used. This blanket is big enough for one person to use. Also, be aware, you can only spot clean this. Otherwise, I would recommend you use this if you have trouble sleeping. It might just help you.

From the first time sleeping with this blanket on I was blown away by the difference it made. I don’t understand the science behind it but I can tell you that I fall asleep faster and seem to sleep deeper now that I use this weighted blanket.
