Dusty Blue is MUCH DARKER than photos
The quality of this Stoneware is astounding. Very heavy weight and thick. Love the curved edge to keep food from spilling. I thought I would need pasta bowls but the plates are so deep that you could get by without them. The saturn design on rim is a nice modern touch. No flaws or bubbling in glaze. Glaze is not super high gloss (more semi-gloss appearance) so not likely to show water spots. Very well made and jaw-dropping quality given great price compared to other Stoneware. I would have rated 5 stars but I am really really disappointed in Blue color. I wanted to do an interchanging set of blue and gray, or blue and white. The blue is MUCH darker than in the onliine pics. It's a dusty blue like a Grandmother's vintage blue. Very old fashioned & out-of-date looking. In photos, it looked coastal blue like a hazy beach morning. It's nothing like that. Color doesn't match with sleek modern design. If youre looking to mix-and-match sets, the color is not cool but warm in its undertones. For comparison, I took photos with bright white cereal bowl and old off white stoneware set to show depth of blue color. Blue wouldn't match with other Westfield cool-colored sets in cool white or cool gray. Really bummed as I have been searching stoneware lines to find a set that I can mix two-tone or three-tones for a coastal beach house look. That being said, I am so impressed with the Threshold quality and great price that I will probably buy a 12-pc set in the white and hope they come out with another pastel color blue soon (Aqua or sky blue). Worst case scenario, I can mix and match white at Christmas with holiday dinnerware.

Not microwave safe!
Small plates are not microwave safe!!! I had one completely break in half in the microwave and the other cracked while in there. Other than that I’ve loved them so far but very disappointing.

I have had these for a year now and they have held up well. It gives a nice look for a good price. I also enjoy that target sells the individuals if anything happens. They go perfect in a dishwasher and are easy to get scraps off. The only issue I have had is that the bowls do not stack well, so they take up a lot of cabinet space. Which ended up not being an issue as I had plenty of space to work with.

I unfortunately did not receive a new item. someone returned this set and kept the dinner plates. I highly recommend buying this or any other dining set in-person to ensure you receive all pieces that are supposed to come with the advertised set.

Quality is questionable
The set appeared promising upon unpacking it. When I inspected the dinnerware, I noticed a chip on the bottom of one of the bowls. The set was nice due to each piece’s weightiness and appearance; I decided to use it (against my better judgment). After cleaning them in the dishwasher twice, I noticed a long fissure in another bowl. I am going to return them after less than 2 days worth of use.

Great dishes and packaged to perfection
First, a shout out on how well these dishes were packaged. The dinner plates, salad plates and bowls all had their own individual box. (Plates together, bowls together) And the arrangement and additional packaging for the dishes was just perfect. I only did a pick up but I would believe these would be fine to be shipped and arrive safely. I’ve owned and own a number of different Target brand dishes and the one thing I’ll agree with in other reviews is that they’re heavy and do chip easily but overall I’ve only had two dishes ever chip and one break after owning more than 30+ different Target brand dishes. Like any breakable item, just be a little extra careful with them. I got these yesterday, washed them this morning and immediately used them. Every single dishes had some kind of small blemish or discoloration/warped spot on it but nothing that effects the use of it, if you’re so petty that a small warp in the enamel or a black spec here or there bother you then I advise you don’t buy them. This seems to be a common theme with Target dishes but it should be expected as they’re inexpensive and mass produced. They don’t get too hot in the microwave unless you run them an extensive amount of time (like any dish) and don’t seem to hold any staining from food placed in and on them. An easy clean up after use and into the cabinet they went for use another day. I’d definitely consider buying another set to increase my plate and bowl count.

Love the color, love the minimalist design, love the curved edges. I’ve attached a photo of the plates sitting in the dishwasher as some reviewers stated they don’t fit. You just have to use every other slot and they fit without issue.
