Before CORELLE® leaves the factory; we spray it with a completely organic, non-toxic coating to help prevent damage during shipping. Sometimes a piece may be sprayed a little heavy which results in an oily look/feel to the dish. Please wash with detergent and hot water before using or run it through a dishwasher cycle.

At least a 50 year love of corelle
I will say for the last 50 years CORELLE is the only dinnerware I have purchased. Just like my first said this set is beautiful. The only reason why I change out the corelle is my husband and I get tired of the pattern. I wish this that would’ve included coffee cups, but that’s OK. I have enough.

Very happy with the pattern and functionality of the Corelle dish set. The design has a classic, stylish look without being overly feminine, and the slightly raised texture of the design is easy to clean. I bought two sets to have 12 place settings. I wish there were more matching pieces available from Target but you can find them on A____n, but not cheap there. I ended up buying some Corelle quart sized bowls, small cereal bowls, and 6.5 inch plates in basic winter white to supplement this set and they match sufficiently.

These are Sturdy plates, not thick but very solid. We love how lightweight they are while still being glass. Also not fragile like normal glass so even the kids can use the same plates. Dishwasher and microwave safe which is a must with being a busy mom.
