The Cuisinart CSB-76 was my favorite stick blender, but the little inside part kept breaking. I finally found this KitchenAid one which had all the same features that I loved. The only problem is the unmanageable thick, stiff cord. I do not want a cordless, so other than that, I would recommend this one, primarily because of the large power button that can be pressed using more than one finger.

Doesn’t come with the pan guard attachment but it’s mentioned in the instruction booklet. Wish it was included with the blender. You also have to keep your finger on the on button to make it work and stay on. It does not stay on automatically. I would prefer that it did stay on without having to keep my finger on the on switch. Other than that this is a nice heavy piece of kitchen equipment. Worth the money. Kitchen Aid appliances are always top notch and very dependable.

Always wanted one and finally pulled the lever and got one. It works so well. I was making gravy from a mix and you had to mix the powder with cold water. Wisk it or fork stir it. Always lumpy. Not this time! I loved it. So well mixed up, nothing dry or lumpy in the measuring cup. What I was looking for. Easy clean up too. In the dishwasher.

I’ve been preparing soups for my aging parents and baby food for my new niece and i use this thing almost daily. It’s a work horse and makes life so much easier. You can’t go wrong with KA brand.

I needed a new hand blender with more power so I settled on this one from Kitchenaid. Unfortunately this model is not user-friendly. The power button is very finicky and keeps turning on and off with the slightest movement of my fingers, requiring the use of both hands which defeats the purpose of this appliance. Since I have arthritis in my thumb & wrist, using my thumb was a no-go. This blender is also quite tall when assembled making it a bit unwieldy. It also has trouble staying assembled when in use. The blender arm easily separates from the motor while blending. I returned it for a refund. I have 2 KA stand mixers, one is from 30+ years ago. What happened to the quality since then?

It did not come with the plastic protector that is listed in the manual. The wait to talk to someone about that was over an hour, and I have not heard back from my online inquiry. So a Customer Service fail.
