The BMW M3 was born from the desire of the Bavarian manufacturer to have a licensed FIA Group A competition car. To accredit its competition model, BMW was under the obligation of commercializing 5000 units minimum of a civilian version. Revealed in Frankfurt in 1985, its production began the following Spring. It received specific shields, widened wings, a rear spoiler and a redesigned rear windscreen so as to obtain an air penetration coefficient of 0.33. This first M3 would end up becoming a legend, symbolizing the prestige of the brand.

I bought this e30 M3 because I missed out on the Kith e30 die cast. It is literally the same car without the Kith Box and no kith logo on the car. I collect die cast cars and the car looks great for it’s price. It arrived quicker than I thought and nothing was damaged. On the other hand I did wish the die cast offered an opening hood and trunk. Especially for collectors and BMW enthusiasts these small details will matter It’s not the best quality parts for a die cast nothing was misaligned and nothing was popping out. For $61 you can’t argue what you paid for. This might be a die cast you could take out of the box and play around with. Overall if you’re a BMW enthusiast, this is a great die cast for you.
