Q: How many quarts would the bowl be considered?

A: The other answer said 70 oz, which is more like 2 quarts, not 6.75. These are all very misleading figures.

I used this beautiful bowl every day for salads and cooked greens. I washed it by hand and dried it. I never manhandled it, but suddenly a crack appeared and slowly spread across the bottom and is still spreaading. The crack goes clear through the acrylic.

I needed a punch bowl for a Christmas Eve celebration. This is a very beautiful bowl and at a terrific price. Everyone thought it was glass because it is so crystal clear. The thick plastic makes it very sturdy too. It holds a lot, 1 bottle of cranberry juice, 1 bottle of Sprite, a large bottle of champagne, a cup of white wine and a floating ice mold. If you need a pretty serving bowl, definitely buy this!!
