I needed blackout curtains so that I could stay asleep in the morning after sunrise. The sun would blare into my bedroom to the point that I was hot and basically blinded by the light. I got these curtains because they match my theme very well and I am happy to say that I no longer ever have a problem with the light or the heat. It is completely blocked so I can finally sleep in after a long night's work. I highly recommend them.

I agree with a previous review - the white isn't quite white, more of a bluish-grey hue, but I attribute that to the black-out layer. I like these a lot - the material is soft and they totally do the trick blocking heat and light. I took a star off for the color and a snag in the fabric, but that's hidden behind my dresser so not worth the bother of returning. What can I say? I'm lazy.

I love these curtains. Saw that what appears "white" in the photo was described in reviews as a silver-gray and that is why I bought them. They are beautiful. I have paid 2x this amount for curtains I liked the same as these. They are gorgeous and now going to pick some more for the room I can see from the in which I hung these. Gorgeous Taupe and Silver stripe.

Beautiful material! I bought the taupe for my sliding glass doors to deck. They are sooo nice and look great,everyone loves them!! I was so sick of plastic vertical blinds!

I was nervous after reading some of the other reviews on here, but ordered these for my son's nursery anyway. I am not disappointed! The stripes line up perfectly, they hang nicely (I did throw them in the dryer for a bit to release the creases from being folded), and they do a great job of blocking light. Good quality for the price.

I'm really happy with these curtains. I was going back and forth deciding if I should purchase or not because I didn't love that they didn't have grommets. I finally decided to just go for it and I'm glad I did. They drape nicely and the stripes on each panel matches perfectly. I took a quick cell phone snap to give an idea because our window is just over 140" across and I used 2 panels on each side. (I crossed my fingers all the stripes would line up.) These have a satin feel to them with a subtle sheen, so if you're looking more for a linen, you would want to pass on these.
