Q: Why is there a chemical smell even after washing? Also, the tag on the sheet only says cotton, it does not say that it is organic cotton. Why doesn't the label state organic?

A: We would consider a chemical smell to be a quality concern, it does not happen often nor do we expect it to. It does not say organic on the tag originally for the sake of space however it is a change we are looking into.

A: I've heard that fabrics imported from outside the U.S. have to be fumigated and if this is the case the fabric should be cleaned before it is sold. The label is not accurate and is not acceptable, IMO

Q: TwinXL: deeply flawed topsheet folded doublethick section. Post-drying it's all warped, requires serious steam/spray ironing to flatten and regularize. Only fix: sew 1-2 seams to prevent creep. AYKM?

We love these sheets
We love these sheets. They are classic crisp smooth cotton. They wash beautifully, the fitted sheet pockets are deep enough but not sloppy and are simply wonderful for sleeping! Only wish would be to have the option to order extra pillow cases.

They look nothing like the photo. Can't believe these are organic cotton. They are so thin you can see through them. Not soft at all, they are crunchy like a windbreaker. They feel like plastic. I got the French Beige and they do not look beige. They look dingy more like a grey. I tried to give them a try because the company made it so difficult to return them. I kept waking in the middle of the night because they are uncomfortable and noisy. By far the worst sheets I've owned. I paid extra for organic sheets and it was a waste of money. So disappointed!

I loved these sheets when I first got them but after owning them for 3 months they are not holding up well. Seams falling apart and some how there is a big rip in the center of the top sheet. I have never had sheets fall apart like this. Other reviews said they were breathable but I feel they make me sweat more.

Very nice sheets but not true percale.
Very nice well-made sheets and quality, but not your old-fashioned traditional percale. They are not the crisp, stiff, body that defines a true percale. These are good as far as thread count but they are silkier, more like a sateen texture. If I wanted silky I would have purchased sateen or silkysoft sheets. I expected percale which is crisp and stiffer with more body. I.e. Remember our beloved Fieldcrest and Hotel brands? You can feel the cotton fibers under hand. I guess this is the new generation that wasn't introduced to tradition. Sad it's gone.

Sheets are nice and thick.l. They are slightly “noisy” but not too much. There is a chemical smell so I washed them twice. My main problem I the pillowcase; they are way too short. The picture shows how a small standard pillow hangs out of it. Also you can see it compared to another standard size pillow case

Weird smell but washed out
I’ve purchased these sheets in blue two years ago but decided to change my bedding. I purchased the white sheet set and after opening it had a horrible smell. It literally smelled like poop. My first set two years ago never had this issue. I ended up just tossing them in the washer and the smell came out. I love these sheets because they’re cooling and I’m a hot sleeper but the smell was concerning. I’m still debating if I want to sleep in them or return them even though the smell is gone.

These sheets fit everything I was looking for. I needed shallow pockets, but couldn't find any. While these sheets have deep pockets the elastic around the whole sheet keeps them tight and tucked in. The fit is perfect. I can't use any microfiber sheets since I sleep hot. I needed 100% cotton to be comfortable which is also hard to find. I researched cotton sheets and these fit all of the recommendations. These sheets are light and so comfortable. When you receive them don't be fooled by how they feel out of the package. The instructions say to wash before using the first time. I did and they are so soft and comfortable. I would definitely recommend these sheets. Also, delivery was great and timely.
