Q: How is the wrinkling after washing? I have been trying out different sheets and after I wash them they look super wrinkled, which makes them appear cheap and unkep

submitted by Michelle - 7 years ago
  • A: Target must have changed manufacturers... they use to be wrinkle free and soft... now course and even ironing doesn’t take away the wrinkles

submitted byBecky - 5 years ago
  • A: hey are not as wrinkle freeas Target sheets used to be. The deep band on the top of the flat sheet is cut so far off grain that they will never iron flat. The resemble "sateen" in name only. Bad!

submitted byGail - 2 years ago
  • A: Agree with others, the ones from pakistan are terrible quality not santeen at all. I have the floral print sheets made in India, very wrinkle free. Bought the white sheets the other day washed and dried them and they look horrible. Especially the pillow cases, will be returning.

    submitted byMaureen D - 2 months ago
  • A: No - not wrinkle resistant or free. I have done as one person mentioned. Dry one sheet at a time and immediately take out-- Very disapointed

submitted byCeegee - 5 years ago
  • A: These are wonderful! The only time I've had wrinkles is when I left them in the dryer for 3 days... If you leave them in the dryer overnight, you'll have some creases but not really "wrinkles."

submitted byNM Red Soul - 6 years ago
  • A: My sets (made in India) aren't completely wrinkle free, but they're close if you fold them right out of the dryer.

submitted byGDKay - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Michelle - Everyone loves a good set of sheets, and these are receiving great reviews! We'd recommend reading a few reviews for real life expertise from those who already own them. Thanks! - Shelly

  • A: I use them for my Airbnb and I spray w/water when making the bed and all the wrinkles come out! I like it wrinkle free and that does the trick!

submitted byKathi - 4 years ago
  • A: These sheets are no longer made in India and are now wrinke resistant, not wrinkle free, rough, pillow casws seams do not line up and look terrible after washing. New manufacturer, new material. Terri

submitted byJanet - 4 months ago
  • A: They are horribly wrinkled fresh from the dryer! One of the pillow cases has a flaw running all the way down the length of it and is shorter than the other. Long threads hanging from every seam. I bought a fitted sheet of this brand a year ago that was much better and wrinkle free, but this set is awful. I will be returning them, even though I’ve washed them.

submitted byrkrc - 4 years ago
  • A: Made in India they are soft. Made in Pakistan they are rough and wrinkle badly.

submitted byMamaT - 5 years ago
  • A: These sheets USED TO BE AMAZING! No Longer!! I bought probably my fifth pair a month ago and they are scratchy to the touch and the worst part is they are no longer wrinkle resistant!! They were my favorite sheets even compared to much, much more expensive sheets from non-Target vendors. PLEASE, PLEASE Target, please go back to your old manufacturer. I can no longer recommend these sheet sets and I will not buy in the future unless I read favorable reviews that you have changed them.

submitted byLAPS - 5 years ago
  • A: These used to be very soft and wrinkle free, but are now rougher and wrinkly quite a bit. Target must have changed the fabric.

submitted bydebbie - 6 years ago
  • A: Very wrinkly after washing and drying first time. Will be returning

submitted bySimone - 5 years ago
  • A: Worst sheets I have ever bought. From Pakistan, they wrinkle horribly. I even tried ironing them. If Target doesn't take them back I am throwing them away. DO NOT BUY!

submitted byJules - 9 months ago
  • A: I have found the difference is where the sheets are made. Some say made in India and others say made in Pakistan. The sheets made in India are the nicer ones that are smoother and don’t wrinkle. Now I only buy the made in India options. It says on the package and in the pillow cases where they are made.

submitted byVCook - 4 years ago
  • A: The Pakistan made are terrible. we have a Queen set (India) no wrinkles. Bought 2 King sets for our BnB to help save time and they come out of the dryer looking like crumbled paper. Wasted $160!

submitted byNot Happy - 1 year ago
  • A: The problem is this brand is made in different countries. Very frustrating they are not made the same. The ones that wash good and are softer are made in China. I returned the ones made in Pakistan.

submitted byShopaholic - 3 years ago
  • A: These sheets are incredible but they are not truly wrinkle resistant. you have to fold them or put them on the bed right out of the dryer. They do crease when you sleep in them but they are real cotton

    submitted byChristina A - 1 year ago
  • A: is this okay for a 6 inch mattress

submitted byTina - 1 year ago
  • A: These are the best new sheets I have bought in a long time. They feel nice against your skin. There are some large wrinkles and some shake out, and the rest relax after being on your bed for a day. I have no problem with the wrinkles. I used to love the Shabby Chic patterned sheets, and those were the worst sheets I have ever seen anywhere, in my own home or staying at someone else's home.

Q: Are the sheets wrinkle resistant ?

submitted by Jane - 7 years ago
  • A: No very wrinkly after washing and drying once.

  • A: These used to be soft and wrinkle-resistant, but now, after washing, they are rougher and wrinkle quite a bit. Target must have changed the fabric.

submitted bydebbie - 6 years ago
  • A: As someone else mentioned, if you get the sheets made in India, they're fine. Get the ones from Pakistan and they're not as soft AND they wrinkle like old aluminum foil.

submitted byJK - 9 months ago
  • A: Just bought these on Black Friday sale... I am so disappointed... both the sheets and pillowcases are very wrinkly and almost stiff. I had the Threshold printed sheets for years and they were lovely - must have changed the fabric. My old wonderful sheets say made in India, these say made in Pakistan. I've washed them a couple times hoping to smooth them out, but no luck. Probably can't return them at this point.

submitted byStylin - 5 years ago
  • A: You have to pull them from the washer and immediately put them in the dryer and pull them from the dryer one piece at a time and fold them while still warm they will be absolutely fine!

submitted bygloglo - 5 years ago
  • A: Just washed these for the first time right out of the package. The fabric before washing had a sheen and felt really slippery like a sateen. After washing they took on more of a cotton percale feel. They were not heavily wrinkled, however I use proper care of the fabrics in large front load home machines: wash in lower temp water, without overloading machines, dry on lower temp, do not over dry and remove immediately when completed. The fabric looks freshly laundered but do not require ironing.

submitted byDebbsSeattle - 7 years ago
  • A: Cotton and Percale Not the same.

submitted byDi - 5 months ago
  • A: No. The worst sheets I’ve ever owned. Never seen sheets be this wrinkled. What a waste of money. Wish I’d read reviews before I bought. Lesson learned.

submitted byMarilyn - 2 months ago

Q: Are these sheets percale? Thanks!

submitted by DKFrank - 5 years ago
  • A: Percale refers to the WEAVE of the fabric and can be any material. (Cotton, poly etc) I cannot find anywhere if these sheets are percale or sateen (another less sturdy type of weave)

    submitted byZilla96 - 3 years ago
  • A: Percale is a type of finish, not a material. It can be 100% cotton or whatever threads.

submitted byHi - 4 years ago
  • A: Percale sheets are made of cotton and are a finish as described above. Target needs to have more knowledgeable staff address questions.

submitted byjane doe - 4 years ago
  • A: Percale and sateen are BOTH weaves. These are sateen. Sateens are typically softer and warmer. Percales are typically crisper and cooler. Either can be 100% cotton or a blend.

    submitted byYankees4Ever - 1 year ago
  • A: Yes. Not microfiber! Real cotton sheets.

    submitted byChristina A - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi DKFrank - Good question! These sheets aren't percale sheets, as they're 100% Cotton. We hope you find what you're looking for! - Alli

Q: do these sheets feel like silk, or just soft cotten...my current sheets are 100% polyester

submitted by vivian - 7 years ago
  • A: Not as silky as one would hope.

submitted byAli - 7 years ago
  • A: Hi vivan - Thanks for asking. These sheets are made of 100% cotton with a sateen feel for softness and durability. Hope that helps! - Nathalie

submitted byNathalie - 7 years ago

  • A: They feel like a cotton gown. Good quality with some weight to them but they stay cool to the touch. Not microfiber.

    submitted byChristina A - 1 year ago
  • A: NO, New material, no longer made in India. Terrible feeling and looking sheets. Wrinkle resistant no longer wrinkle free. Big difference.

submitted byJanet - 4 months ago
  • A: The fabric feels like a smooth slippery sateen right out of the package. I have just purchased and washed them before use...the fabric took on more of a cotton percale feeling after washing & drying. For me, this is what I was desiring. Sateen cotton can be too tightly woven and cause sweating due to lack of breathability. If a purely smooth silky sateen is what you desire, I would say these WILL NOT make you happy. If a crisp cotton is more your style, I would say you WILL enjoy.

submitted byDebbsSeattle - 7 years ago
  • A: They used to be silky but they have changed in recent times. They still feel soft in the package, but as soon as you wash them they feel like plain cotton. These were my favorite sheets but I will no longer buy them

submitted bydebbie - 6 years ago

Q: Are the sheets resistant to benzoyl peroxide and is the fitted deep pocket

submitted by dieteli - 8 years ago
  • A: There is a viewable PDF on each sheet page that gives a great deal of information about each type of sheets that Target currently offers. One of the rows on the PDF chart shows which sheet types are benzoyl peroxide resistant. This sheet set is not shown to be benzoyl peroxide resistant. As a rule of thumb, most natural fibers will not be benzoyl peroxide resistant, while many 100% synthetic sheets (such as microfiber) will be benzoyl peroxide resistant.

submitted byNTrnsit - 8 years ago
  • A: The fitted sheet is very deep pocket. I'm not positive about the resistance to benzoyl peroxide, although this may vary with dye color with any brand.

submitted bydowntownfrenchie - 8 years ago
  • A: It is a very deep pocket. I use ProActive and it has stained the sheets if I go to bed without letting the cream dry first. I have had these sheets for almost two years and has not pilled or faded. Buying again!

submitted byMommyKi - 8 years ago
  • A: As an esthetician and RN for 20 years, NOTHING is resistant to benzoyl peroxide other than the color white that cannot be bleached out by the oxygen molecules in the benzoyl peroxide.

submitted bySP - 1 year ago

Q: How would you compare the colors "Mint Ash" and "Green Fig" to each other?

submitted by ColorQuest - 7 years ago
  • A: Nope, Mint Ash is very much a true green. I can't really see any blue in and though I have a set and LOVE the sheets, I really wish the color had been closer to a Spa Blue/Green, a pastel Teal instead of leaning so hard to the green tone. HTH

submitted bykatISD - 6 years ago
  • A: I have two sets of Mint Ash sheets (and had another that wore out before!). I think it does have bluish undertones to it, which is why I wanted it. Our comforter has this color in it and it really goes well. It was hard to match but these worked! It is not at all a true green to me in any shade. Think maybe a sea blue or sea green color. Not quite an aqua but in that direction.

    submitted byGaPeach12 - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi ColorQuest - You're absolutely right, those two colors are pretty close. After some discussion, we're seeing "Green Fig" as being a pure light green while "Mint Ash" has a slight bluish cast. We're hoping you'll pick the perfect color and add these to your place. We appreciate you being with us. -Michael

Q: Is the yellow sheets color a dark yellow or golden

submitted by Grumpy - 8 years ago
  • A: Hi Grumpy - Thanks for asking. Some guests have described the yellow sheet set as golden. Check out what they're saying about the color in the reviews section. Have a great day! - Nathalie

submitted byNathalie - 8 years ago
    Target staff support
  • A: I suppose I could see the yellow as a gold but a richly buttered yellow gold!

submitted byStw - 7 years ago
  • A: I have two sets of the yellow sheets. I have light butter yellow walls and the sheets are slightly deeper colored. Because they are a bit deeper colored, someone could call them gold, but I think it might depend on the rest of your room colors. They are a very pleasing yellow. I might have thought I would have preferred them to be a lighter yellow, but these are really a beautiful color.

Q: I see it says to wash in warm water. Is it ok to wash in hot water? Will it shrink and be durable enough if I did. I have allergies and the hot water kills dust mites. Thanks!

submitted by Dale - 8 years ago
  • A: Hi Dale - Thanks for asking. This sheet set is only recommended to be machine washed in warm water and tumble dried in low heat. Have a great day! - Nathalie

submitted byNathalie - 8 years ago
    Target staff support
  • A: I washed in warm water and dried on low heat and they shrunk so much I could barely get them back on our king size foam mattress! Our corners of the mattress are now squished!

submitted byEm - 7 years ago
  • A: I too have dust mite allergies. I purchase extra pillow cases and I replace pillow cases every couple days and wash them in HOT water weekly. With that said, I do not wash my sheets in hot water regularly. High temperatures will cause fibers to weaken shortening the useful life of your sheets. I will use hot on occasions such as cold and flu season when a sleeper has had fevered sleep and excessive sweating has occurred. However, if sheeting is washed every 7 days (or fewer days if you have time to afford such a luxury), warm will do the job well with quality detergents and avoiding fabric softener. I also recommend using baking soda (1/2 cup) in the wash load. It helps reduce odors that sleeping fabrics can gain over time, boosts the cleaning power of your detergent, naturally softens fabric and helps control excessive suds in the wash load that sometimes do not fully rinse out. I use 1/2 cup per load, warm water, extra rinse cycle and I do not over dry sheets and remove immediately from dryer. My sheets last and maintain quality appearance and feel using this method. With the choice of white sheets, the use of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide will help eliminate stains like dried blood or red wine as well.

Q: What kind of opening/closure do the pillow cases have? Are they completely open, or do they have an envelope closure?

submitted by Teena - 3 months ago

I bought these based on the "rave reviews" I kept seeing on FB claiming they were the best, most comfortable sheets ever, yadda yadda....and I'm confused because these are some of the most mediocre sheets I've ever owned. Stiff and scratchy, wouldn't describe them as "soft" or "the most comfortable" AT ALL. And I bought them when they were on sale for half off! Definitely would NEVER pay $60 for these sheets! I'm convinced all the 5 star reviews were paid for their high ratings.

I love these sheets and I tell everyone about them! They fit my bed well, and have only had a few issues recently with a corner popping off but that’s because I added a topper to my already thick mattress. I have a king size bed that is 16” and added a 2” topper and it fits well. Things I love other than the fit are the softness and the helpful tags. I am very picky with textures so finding sheets is difficult but these are so soft, keep me cool, and wash well with no piling. The helpful tags are on the ends there is a little tag to tell you if it’s top or bottom so you know which way they go on the bed. These are also way more affordable than other similar sheets I’ve seen and tried and these were better.

I love this brand of bedsheets, we have purchased several sets over the years. I must have received a defective one because after two washes (one before use and one after a week), the seams are beginning to fray and unravel. We wash on delicate and low heat, and this is the first time it’s happened. I hope the quality hasn’t declined over the years. I contacted customer support and they instructed me to go to the store in person since I bought in store.
comfort: 5 out of 5
quality: 3 out of 5
washes well: 3 out of 5
value: 4 out of 5
