A: I think the shelf plus the items you place on it would not be safely hung using command strips, the shelf is quite heavy by itself.

A: This items comes with hardware included . We do not recommend to use commands strips as this wont hold up the weight capacity of the item .

A: I am not sure I understand the question. Do you mean horizontal mounting vs. vertical mounting? My shelf is vertically mounted. It works very well.

A: I looked at mine and think you can. You would need to flip it over bottom to top.

A: You don't have to look for a beam as this item goes in a corner. First assemble the item to know where do you wanted to be hang by using the pre hole that is located on the top and bottom shelves. Once you measure it you will need to drill a hole and tap in the anchor on the shelf and screw it .

A: Depending on the weight the shelves will have on them, you can use L brackets or screws in any or all of the shelf wall sides to anchor the unit.

A: All you need are screws that fit the hole in the very top square and the very bottom. I don't believe any special hardware is required.

A: I bought it about a year ago. If my memory serves me I believe it came with short screws to put the actual shelf together and longer screws as well as plastic anchors to hang it. Hope that helps!! It is a nice corner shelf.
