Buyer beware! If you intend to install a wall control for this fan, you must use a Minka Aire product ONLY with unnecessary functions that are aesthetically unappealing. I will never buy one again.

We purchased two of these fans. Once for the living room and one for the bedroom. Both are installed on 48" downrods. The one installed in the living room works and looks great but the one we bought for the bedroom has a humming/rubbing sound. We've tightened every screw, balanced it and checked the wiring. Cannot stop the sound. Returning it and have ordered a replacement.
