  • A: these are 100% cotton. cotton unevenly shrinks when wet and hot. i always just hand wash in the sink with cold water and dishwashing liquid. wring them out and hang them over the shower rod.

    Love these handy kitchen towels

    Love these kitchen flour sacks. I cook a lot and it is helpful to have them around for quick cleanups, grabbing stuff out of the oven, etc. I always have one over my shoulder. Actually, so does my husband! They are somewhat light, like a flour sack should be, and very durable. They do stain with certain foods, such as spaghetti sauce and avocado, but I don't want to stain my good towels so I use these. I wash them over and over and they work well for me.

    Tea towels are my go-to kitchen utensils. I use them for everything: pot holder, trivet, wiping down the counter, keeping my hands clean while I cook, keeping the press pot warm while my coffee is steeping, drying dishes… my only gripe with tea towels has ever been that they get dirty so quickly.
