Nice flour sack towels at a great price

I was very disappointed. I doubt very seriously if these would ever hold flour! I would rate them just a fraction thicker than cheesecloth. As a quilter I handle cotton fabric. I can almost read my phone's display through them. I am very surprised they have gotten such a high rating.

Very thin material and they are gigantic. My fault I suppose for not reading the specifications which mentions the size being 30” x 30”. Not really a dish or tea towel as mentioned in the header. Only time will tell if they hold up. They do absorb a lot. Wrinkles very easily if you dry them, especially on the recommended low setting but not really a huge issue unless you’re using them for decoration. I just wish they were about half the size.

I use these with my sourdough and they are great. I got both the gray and white. Both washed up nicely without any fraying. Gray came out practically wrinkle-free, fabric is linen-like, has a nice solid feel. The white came out sort of micro wrinkled, the fabric sort of looks like seersucker but not uniform like seersucker (if that makes sense). Still looks nice, but definitely a different texture. Still nice. I think we will use the gray as kitchen towels because they look nicer out of the dryer and I will use the white as dough towels. Great price! For reference, I got two packs of each color and the photo with them piled is them folded the same after washing the same -- you can see how the white is a bit more 'fluffy' after washing making the pile higher. FWIW, if you are looking for towels to embroider, I think these would be great. The gray might be easier than the white, though with ironing the white would do good as well.

Huge. Dries better than regular towels. I stopped using “kitchen towels” because these honestly dry better.

I haven't used them yet, but feel they will dry dishes very nicely. I like the color as they will blend in with my stainless steel appliances without making any decor statement.

Lucky I did not plan to wear these, it would be immodest. You can hold it up and watch television through it. Maybe a good blue blocker. But consider the price.

I love this kitchen dry towels, they absorb water very well, they are larger than most, and they look great in a drawer folded like a fabric napkin with alternating colors with the white and the gray!

These are the only towels I use in my kitchen. Have used them daily for years. Clean fresh towel every day. Machine wash in hot water, dry and you are good to go. Long lasting.
