I was very skeptical to purchase this because of the bad reviews but since they were mixed, so glad I took a chance! I wanted this specifically for vintage type quality for my wedding coming up and its perfect! I payed attention to the directions and removed the sticker from the battery and it works perfectly.

PLEASE READ IF HAVING BATTERY ISSUES
PLEASE READ!!! the battery is inserted the wrong way. i had to first remove the sticker and then twist the battery around!!! it was inserted with the 3 stripes touching the spring, when really the 3 strips should be touching the two dots (if that makes sense lol)

you could do a whole lot worse
the picture quality is not that bad at all. but the camcorders microphone is really bad. however because it has good picture quality. you can re-edited in your video editor. and do the voiceovers and b-rolls

Wont work without being plugged in
Absolutely loved it but it does not turn on without it being plugged in. I had it on the charger for like 6 hours and still wouldn’t work. Very bummed about it.

Hello! Thank you for reviewing our product. It sounds like the plastic covering over the battery leads might be the issue. Please open the battery door, remove the battery, take off the plastic shield covering the leads, and replace the battery. The camera quality is very nostalgic, many different modes. I would suggest experimenting with all the different effects to see what suits your preference. The only problem I had, is the screen lags out sometimes when your viewing the gallery, but nothing to serious. Definitely worth the price.

It was everything I thought it would be based on the description and reviews, which is why I gave it 5 stars. It was also a hit at the gift exchange. Is it the best quality technology has to offer...no, but I think this is more a nostalgia type product. It does not come with a SD and the card or battery do not last long.

REMOVE THE STICKER ON THE BATTERY!!!!!
