Q: Are the drawer sliders metal or plastic?

submitted by Crystal - 4 months ago

  • A: Hi! This dresser doesn't have metal or plastic drawer sliders — the fabric drawers slide directly along the metal frame rails. It's a lightweight fabric storage chest design, not a traditional wooden dresser with glide hardware. The sturdy metal frame provides support, and the drawers glide smoothly on it. Hope that clears it up!

Q: Is it sturdy enough to change a baby on top?

submitted by Holly - 1 year ago

It was love at first sight! I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the limited space I have. Then the photo of this storage unit appeared, lined with the perfect coloring, size, draws and easy instructions! It was perfect and I knew it right away! It was actually fun to put together.

This dresser is very practical and has a lot more storage space than I expected. The nine drawers make it easy to organize clothes, accessories, and other everyday items, and the different drawer sizes are really useful. The metal frame feels sturdy, and I like having the solid top for decorations or things I use often. It also looks nice and doesn’t feel too bulky in the room. Overall, it’s a great storage solution for a bedroom, closet, or hallway and a good value for the price.

    Good quality

After searching for a dresser to fit my kids closet that wouldn't break the bank, I found this. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The directions were easy to follow. If you've put together an easy Ikea piece, you can def do this. Start of highlighted quote:Material of the drawers is sturdy enough to hold a good amount of clothing without caving in or falling apart.End of highlighted quote The frame is metal and the top is a faux wood finish. All good quality and a nice white color. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Easy to Assemble and Plenty of Storage

Delivery was very fast and the item was well packaged. It took us about 30 minutes to put the dresser together, and my child helped with the assembly, which actually made it a fun little project. We were very happy with how it looked once it was finished. The drawers are also quite spacious and provide plenty of storage. Overall, we’re very satisfied with this purchase.

    Great dresser! l love it!

This dresser is really practical and works perfectly for my kids’ things. I use the different drawers to keep their clothes and other items organized, and it makes everything so much easier to find. The drawers are a good size, and the dresser doesn’t take up too much space. It looks nice and simple in the room too. Very happy with this purchase!

    Damaged parts upon arrival

The sliding brackets for the drawers are made of a cheap plastic material. Multiple showed up cracked and damaged; unable to support the drawers

    I do NOT recommend!

I do NOT recommend buying this. It’s super cheapo. My husband had to drill holes in the frame because it didn’t have holes for the screw in some parts. It also smells terrible. We bought it for my kids’ overflow/off season clothes, but we are just going to use it for toys, because I don’t want my child’s clothes to smell like that… plus who knows what toxic chemicals are in it.

Received a few broken plastic items with it.. maybe that’s why my drawers are uneven. The items has a bad smell to it, hoping it will go away with time.

    Good Buy for the money!

I like the different decorative drawers. But didn’t like the partial directions to assemble it. My drawers don’t all sit even, as the package photo. Am not sure why.

    Green 9 drawer dresser

not bad for the price and purpose. easy to set up and to move. 3 small drawer and 6 mid size drawers with a total of 9 drawers. i do like the color having a wooden panel on top, with white metal frame and cloth type drawers and a gold colored handle. too bad you cant attach a video for this review, my only concern with this dresser is it haa a gap space in between all the drawers, if you dont prefer having a small gap or space, dont buy this. but for me, i just need a cheap cute green dresser that i could easily set up and move if needed.

    cute, but minor damages

it's such a simple, cute addition to my daughter's room. I will say to be careful putting the drawer sliders in, the small pegs are easy to break. there was also a crack in the top, but that could've been from delivery and it was an easy thing for my husband to fix. all in all we're happy with it.

I’m giving this a one star only because it has so many drawers for storage but the assembly was ridiculous and the parts to hold the drawers are cheap and never stay in place. They’re plastic pieces that always fall off every time you open the drawers. It doesn’t look like the picture either. I’m very disappointed.

Don't buy this. Cheap plastic won't last.

They made the pieces that the drawers sit on and bear all the weight out of 3D-printed plastic with fragile connections. They should be metal. If you want this to last, it won't. If those peices were just metal this would have been a great product.
