When Emmy-nominated comedy writer and Junior Library Guild-selected children's book author Ethan T. Berlin couldn't find a funny print magazine to buy for his own children, he decided to make one! Thus was born The Journal of Nonsense, a magazine dedicated to helping kids hold on to and nurture their innate creativity and silliness. Then, when The Journal of Nonsense editor Ethan T. Berlin couldn't find an activity book that was based on The Journal of Nonsense magazine, he decided to make one! Thus was born A Big Bunch of Nonsense, an activity book dedicated to featuring amazing stuff from The Journal of Nonsense.

About the Author

The Journal of Nonsense is the funny magazine for silly kids! It's filled with ridiculous activities, weird jokes, absurd games, and the occasional picture of hippopotamuses.

Ethan T. Berlin is an Emmy Award-nominated television comedy writer, a Junior Library Guild selected picture book author, and the creator and editor of The Journal of Nonsense children's comedy magazine. As if that weren't enough, Ethan also plays L.I.S.A. on the popular children's podcast, The Big Fib, and teaches comedy writing at SUNY Stonybrook University.

Jake Crowe is an illustrator and designer from Massachusetts. He has illustrated for various podcasts and publications including The Journal of Nonsense children's comedy magazine. He has many pets, some with feathers, some with fur, and some with scales. He also enjoys a good cross-stitch.
