I have so enjoyed the Honor Bound series and this is the final book. But, I'm so happy to FINALLY have Eamon's story! Eamon and Lana have been dancing around each other since they first met. She was married at the time, so Eamon looked from afar. Now Lana's husband has died and although his death was ruled an accident, she is sure it wasn't. There are things she hasn't told anyone and after being suspended from her job as a detective in Seattle, she is looking for someone to take her seriously. Eamon is a special agent with the FBI and is willing to listen to Lana without prejudice. He believes her! Now, the suspense begins! Was Lana's husband who she thought he was? Why are people looking for her? Are friends really friends? The suspense ratchets us up the further we get into the book. If the series has to end, this was a great way to do it. All of the previous couples we've loved in the Honor Bound series make appearances in this book. It's so nice to catch up with them and see where their lives are headed. I totally enjoyed this book and look forward to other books by this author. I think this series is best read in order. Each book builds upon the last to make the people and places a cohesive unit. Plus...you have a wonderful 8 book series to binge! A win all the way around!
