I thoroughly enjoyed this latest book in the series. My nephew loves animals and was especially excited for one focusing on cats. The TV show angle was really interesting and he wanted to know if there might be animals living near us that scientists don’t realize are here, like cougars in the area of the Maine where the book is set. We’re planning a hike to go look for ourselves! I especially appreciated the subtle way kids learn what to do if they come upon a wild animal in the woods. He and I will definitely read that scene again before going on our hike.
