A Bit Plain!
Where's the butter. A lot of popped corn is plain and the ones with butter aren't flavorful like butter. A bit dry and lackluster. This used to be a great brand. That's why I tried it. Last time I buy this one.

It sounded good based on the description. I was hoping it would taste like Flamin’ hot Cheetos. It has hardly any flavor or spice. If they made a hot honey version of this popcorn by adding a little sweetness and double or triple the current spice level, I would buy it. I’m going to have to add nutritional yeast or hot sauce to this popcorn so it doesn’t go to waste

Bland and sad looking compared to competition
Bland and sad-looking compared to the other brand. However, if you’re sensitive to salty flavors like I am (taste-wise, not medically), I’d suggest sticking with this one, because I found the other to be a bit too salty. We ended up mixing both to balance it out. I don’t think I’d buy this one again. As for the other, I’d go with the next level down. LEFT: Top Secret RIGHT: Act II

Best microwave popcorn out there
If you could see my purchase history, you'd be genuinely shocked at how much Act II Butter Lover's popcorn I consume. I have a bag daily, so you can trust that I've done my due diligence in researching for this review :) I primarily chose this popcorn because I'm vegan, and this product happens to be vegan as well. Popcorn is my favorite snack, but dairy free buttered popcorn isn't easy to come by. Once I found ACT II, my search ended. It's so good and insanely flavorful. The bags pop perfectly every time if you pay attention to the popping. The price is unbeatable, especially if you can get the larger sized box. I order like 6 of these at a time to keep my pantry stocked, so I really am a huge fan! I even travel with it when I'm going out of town.
