Very easy to prepare and tasty. The hint of apple is really a nice added flavor. It is important to note that these are chicken sausages so they’re a little different than your typical sausage. Definitely worth the try!

I’m really disappointed as I’ve bought these sausages routinely. This batch I bought had rubber throughout the sausage??!!!!! Having to throw out what I cooked for dinner as I’m not gonna have my kids pick through their meat to make sure it’s good enough to eat. So disappointing

I loved this sausage because it was clean and I could eat it on Whole 30. It became a regular staple at my house but they changed the recipe and added brown sugar. I will not buy it now. Please go back to the old recipe. We need clean options.

We enjoyed our dinner with Aidell's Chicken Apple Sausage... I had a package frozen, so I thawed it in the refrigerator overnight... Baked and served it in my buttered 9 x 9" casserole, the sausages nestled into some mashed canned yams, fork masked with a dash of cinnamon, a few drops of vanilla, and Smart Balance (could have used salted butter)... Covered with foil, I baked it for about an hour... My husband loved it.

I tried your chicken apple sausage. It had me at "hello". I may have an issue....I'm eating about 4 packs a week! It's clean! It's so l, so, so DELICIOUS! I NEVER eat sausage...until YOU!!!! I can NOT say enough! (Imma need a subscription option....or else Imma have to move next. To your plant/production area and beg shamelessly outside. Ooooh! Hire me as a taste tester! I love you! (Too soon?)

These sausages are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. They’re great for breakfast or thrown with some vegetables for dinner or just as a snack. They’re a staple in our refrigerator.

I love the aidells Chicken and Apple Smoked Sausage for a quick, easy dinner. Versatile product that can be made into subs with peppers and onions, pair it with rice and beans or serve with pasta. Delicious every time!

These were spoiled and tasted smelled so gross. I opened the package and see a type of jelly slime. Cooked it thinking maybe that’s just how they are or something and it smelled up my whole house like spoiled chicken or spoiled hot dog. I want my money back. These are not cheap in my opinion. They should be good quality considering the price and packaging.

I bought these to try bc I watch that one health guru on FB who makes the Tiffany Plates with the chicken apple sausages, veggies, and cottage cheese + mustard combo. Granted these are good, they're a bit sweeter than I expected. The flavor is reminiscent of a honey ham. It would probably work well for someone looking to eliminate the amount of pork in their diet. I would definitely try this brand again but probably just another flavor. I believe I saw that they made a spicy pepper jack flavor (or something close). I'd probably prefer a savory profile to a sweet one but I wasn't mad at these. I should've expected some sweetness because of the apple. It encouraged me to eat more of my veggies and fruits on my plate to combat the sweet flavor so maybe that was the point in choosing this variety to pair with fruit and veggies. It does pair well with a charcuterie-style plate. I usually only like cooked veggies and this made me crave the raw veggies accompanied with it. So, it's a win in that sense considering it's meant for someone losing weight (the diet I'm speaking of) or trying to eat healthier.

The packaging is difficult to open . I won't buy again for this reason .

As other reviewers have pointed out the casing on these sausages is not pleasant to eat. I I would say it is akin to eating crispy plastic or paper. I cooked the chicken-apple flavor sausage on a grill. I will try skinning them next and the simmer in water method to use up my first purchase. Will be my last purchase as I am accustomed to grilling no prep casing-on sausage. Disappointing, as the meat tastes pretty darn good in an all natural product.

I have eaten this specific sausage almost weekly since I was about 6 years old (I'm 26 now). It has never failed me! So flavorful, but not overly sweet. It's a staple in my household, and I fear I will never get tired of it. I've recently branched out to the other flavors and have loved them, too! This one is #1, though.

I’ve already tried many other types of sausages like this but sorry to say that this particular product is not in the quality for the price I paid for it… cooked to instructions on the package even though I know how to cook this type, but the casings were so chewy and hard after cooking them 2 different ways…. I will be returning this and I’ve seen others with the same opinions and comments…. Too bad…

These are supposed to be fully cooked out of the packed I baked them for about 20 mins and they were still pink inside major turnoff

Even though they taste great, I am done with them due to the impossible packaging. Does not pull open like most other similar products, and knife, scissors, etc, are still almost impossible without slicing my fingers. By far the worst packaging I've ever come across! Hard to believe they have not improved it - if they need help, they should look at a Hillshire Farms smoked sausage package!

I have been eating these sausages for years and they're always tasty and yummy and casings always softened up when I cooked them on the stove. My latest batch (from Costco) is extremely tough and grizzley bits (which my dog enjoys thoroughly). They also seem a bit less flavorful than my previous purchases . Please bring back the soft casings, seasonings, and be a bit more careful about what's getting into your product.

I am a creature of habit and I eat one of these sausages every morning with cottage cheese. Delicious

I’m not gonna lie. I was very skeptical of these chicken and apple smoked chicken sausages but they’re actually great. They were so yummy. I loved how they’re packaged individually so the other ones don’t ruin. I paired mine with some sugar-free barbecue sauce and Yum.!!
