Aidells Chicken & Apple Smoked Chicken Sausage - 12oz/4ct

Couldn't get past the casing. Wasn't able to remove it and couldn't chew it.

Weird texture , wanted to like this… but I also found bone in one of the sausages. Kinda scary when you have kids eating this !! Very gross

This is the best sausage imo! So so yummy and target always has a sale on it.

I was very scared of buying this in the quantity I did (from a wholesaler) but then when I bit into one I was assured of the quality and the product. I did get a tiny bit of hard ?gristle/bone? but it wasn't as bad as the reviews stated. I am also hoping not to get feathers but that's an unfortunate fact of life when you buy chicken, even fresh chicken thighs. Regardless the taste and texture are both great and I checked it by quartering each link

Been keeping these stocked in my fridge for years! My favorite way to have them is sliced up and pan fried with some healthy snacky sides like fruit or cheese and veggies for a simple “girl dinner.” They are easy and quick since they are fully cooked you can microwave them if you don’t feel like cooking but want something quick protein. I’ve also added them to pasta with pesto and toasted pine nuts. Good shelf life and you can just open one at a time to keep the rest in the original packaging if you’re just feeding yourself throughout the week

Used to be my go-to, the ingredients are pretty clean for a sausage and pretty low calorie. However, as of recently I’ve been biting into bone shards and gristle in every one of the 4 that come in the pack. Very gross and unappetizing. Probably will not purchase these again unless in a pinch.

Please be mindful if you are eating this to avoid pork. I always check ingredients but for those that assume, They use pork casing! There are other brands that do not use pork casing. I know it’s the cheapest option to use pork as casing but I feel like if people wanted to eat pork they would just get the regular sausage ?!

I thought this would be a similar texture to pork sausage or ground chicken and have an apple flavor but it’s actually chunks of chicken packed into casing with actual chunks of apple. It’s not bad, it’s actually really juicy and flavorful but not like normal sausage links.

I am very impressed with these! They have a great taste and great quality. This was my first time trying them because I am doing Whole30, and after I bought these I looked at other reviews and was a little scared of them but they were great. The packaging is not that hard to get into…just use scissors. The casing was not hard either so not sure why there are so many reviews on that. These had a great flavor and texture.

Hard to get into. Took 2 of us to get the sausage out of the packing. Never again

Our favorite chicken and apple sausage and the sausage we use he most in recipes or just eaten on its own. Delicious, adaptable, and healthy!

What other spices are in these. Its one of 7 foods I can eat. Its chewy, the casing i have to take off. There is grissel or bone in them. It seems spicier. I have a histamine issue I cant have spicy things. Please fix it.

I often buy Aidells chicken & apple smoked chicken sausage, and it is tasty. But this time it is disappointed, I found a piece of bone fragment while eating it... lucky I didn't swallow it...

This sausage is THE BEST! I eat it in the morning for breakfast with a boiled egg and it's delicious and healthy! My son and his wife buy it and they are the ones that introduced me to it.

We love these sausages! Such a great item to have on hand for quick meals.

Found a big Ole long hair in the sausage that was definitely wrapped within the sausage.
