All-Natural Pork Sausage Roll - 1lb - Good & Gather™

Just bought this and went to cook it. It is extremely old. Purchased on 5/16 and it's use by date was 5/7

1 day expiration date

I purchased two rolls of this sausage and prior to the expiration date I tried cooking it. I noticed immediately the color, texture, and smell was off. It was very clumped and wouldn’t separate easily. Very disappointing, target! I purchased target chicken breast in the same shopping trip and they were pretty much inedible…not sure what’s going on with Targets meat department/supplier.

The person deserving didn’t realize it was spoiled I guess.

Such a great price and tastes good! I hate squeezing it out of the package but that is just me, lol!

This sausage was $2.69 when I last bought it. It’s now $3.69, the same price as name brand. Think I’ll pass.

I was hopeful- because it was more reasonably priced. But found some weird bits in the sausage and I threw it all out. We made pancakes instead for dinner- just weird. Should have gotten a pic but didn’t- idk if I will ever eat ground sausage again. It was gross like “tube” looking body part.

Som weird reviews on here…this is a good product, taste is solid and cooks well. And better ingredients than Jimmy Dean.

No expiration date. The first time I purchased I assumed the lack of expiration date was a fluke and I made to use it same day as purchased. Bought it again and same issue, no expiration date

Placed order for curbside pickup. on 12/19. sausage roll was clearly marked with a best by date of 12/15. So while not an issue with the item, this is targets brand...

I bought this and my husband loved it! He thought that it came from a butcher. I see people saying that there are bones in it, but that’s actually the crushed red pepper flakes.

I bought this today and after cooking it, I realized there is bone or something crunchy in it. Absolutely disgusting. I had to thow it all away. Tried to report the issue but the website wouldnt work.

Surprised to read the reviews about it being too spicy. My mom is 77 years old, we don't like spicy at all. We didn't think this was, in fact, I added a little black pepper to it. Also, ours did have an expiration date sticker that others said was missing. I took one star off because it doesn't patty together very well, it breaks up easily. Overall, good value for what it is.

As others have said, expiration date so I don’t know if it’s good. It has brown gunk on the sides- sausage maybe?

Really, REALLY wish they'd list ALL the ingredients on the label and not just write "'spices'". This sausage roll has RED PEPPER FLAKES with the SEEDS. Wanted a nice egg omelet for breakfast and got an omelet that burned my mouth, throat, chest & stomach (NOT to mention the after affects)! Beware, red hot pepper flakes with the seeds in this pork sausage roll. This sausage roll will be great for those who like real spicy foods.

Has a good taste and is very affordable. Only con, it’s a bit salty.

This sausage is so good! I cooked it up in our family crockpot for meal prep and everyone loved it! I will be buying more soon!

I thought it was state law to have the expiration date on it. Even if it's not, it's good business. What happens if it's expired? What if I get sick?
